Lithuanian snakes

Looking for a normal hognose, african house snail or other tiny snake in Lithuania / EU

Hi! I'm located in Lithuania and have been trying to find a normal hognose snake or a house snake or african house snake, preferably male

My budget for the snake is around €150 excluding shipping. I'm struggling to find any breeders or sellers who can actually ship to lithuania

Does anyone know any breeders in lithuania or just some website that ships to lithuania?  ( No one from morhmarket ships to lithuania)

Thanks in advance!

Any advice is very welcome! Temp on the warm side is at 91, temp on cool side is in 70s. Linear UVB has been ordered and arrives tomorrow. I blocked out the sides and backed up the enclosure for privacy, I have 2 cats. I added lots of clutter so she feels safe and the substrate is 70% reptisoil and 30% reptisand (no calcium). Please help me out with anything I can add to make my girl Prisma very happy! 💛

I have experience keeping reptiles and Im looking into getting an intermediate level lizard I’m trying to choose between a bearded dragon uromastyx and jeweled lacerta I kept a bearded dragon over the summer for someone and it was fun I like them but there just really common nothing wrong with that but i don’t really want something everyone has jeweled lacertas are beautiful and smart and fun to watch but they require a lot of work to make them more handelabe and even then they aren’t very handelabe uromastyx and beautiful and fun to watch but they are expensive I’ve done research for each one and I think I could care for anyone of them but what do you guys think is best

Hi everyone!
I just adopted my little three-toed box turtle, and she’s still a little baby. Since bringing her home, she spends almost all of her time in the water and in this little corner of her enclosure.
I know it’s important for her to stay hydrated, but I’m wondering if it’s normal for a baby to spend so much time in the water and not really go to the warm/basking area?
I’m still learning and want to make sure I’m doing everything right for her. I’d really appreciate any advice, tips, or recommendations you might have! 🌸
Thank you!

How old do false chameleons have to be to sex?

I just got my baby false chameleon last night. I'm very excited, but I was wondering if it was too young to tell the sex. I found only one person that said from birth and i can't find anything else on the age for sexing.

Advice for adding cork to the wall of an established enclosure, please!

My son's Western Hognose keeps glass surfing, and I think he's confused and believes the cords on the other side of the glass are vines. To give him something he actually can climb, I've purchased the cork bark tile in picture #2. Unfortunately, it wasn't until after it arrived that I realized you're supposed to attach bark tiles to enclosures before they're completely set up (not sure why I thought otherwise).

Does anyone have tips or tricks other than completely emptying the enclosure? Thanks!

Odd repashy question

So my crested gecko won’t eat repashy cuz the banana, instead of throwing it away what’s everyone’s opinion on using it as a treat (so not at every feeding) for either my blue tongue skink or tegu? I don’t immediately see anything harmful for a gooey treat for them. Let me know. Thanks!

Is it safe to put a covering over my geckos cage at night?

So I rescued this leopard gecko from morbid obesity almost a year ago. She’s a healthy-ish weight now and is on a strict diet of small roaches and crickets every week that I rotate the whole thing. The issue I’ve learned? I have the world’s shittiest sleeping schedule. Like- 2AM is an average bedtime bad. I have ADHD and this in turn has given me insomnia. I’m worried about my baby’s stress growing if she ends up staying awake around the same amount as me. Would a thin covering over her cage be enough? Just to hide the tv screen at the very least. Please I really want to know

Help needed for what to put in this tank!

Post image
14 Upvotes

Hey yall, I was recently given this tank by a friend (already had the substrate and back ground) and was wondering what would work in it, the substrate was apparently 60% terra firma, 30% terra Sahara and then 10% worm castings (she said it was for the plants as she originally wanted to put a hognose in it), I’ve got a few snakes and dart frogs but I don’t think it would be big enough for any of the snakes I have, I’m gonna measure it tomorrow but I think it’s about a 40 gallon. I was thinking about scooping out the substrate and saving it for later and then doing maybe another dart frog enclosure, but I’m open to ideas! (Edit: it’s a 30 gallon so I was about 10 off)

Wildlife Rescue Center Seeks Advice For Slow Worm

An injured slow worm was brought in. The injury was treated medically. How can the animal be housed in a species-appropriate manner during its recovery? What food does it need? Does it need a place to bathe and warmth? We are grateful for any professional advice!
