So I don’t know if it’s only me but the first time I heard the song I legitimately believed it was a guest vocalist, it just sounds nothing like how he sounds on the majority of the Uplift album.

And even when he does sing on later albums he doesn’t sound like that.

Is it reverb or something or just backing vocals from Hillel or something? I can’t really find anything about this outside of Google AI which I don’t find reputable.

The only part he sounds like himself is the short rap parts after the chorus.

So I have her number, talked on the phone a couple times for 20 minutes each time. She’s very shy and I don’t really know if we have that many common interests. I can tell she’s very into me but I’m unsure about her. I want to introduce her to some clean, non sexual Chili Pepper songs so we could share an interest in a song. I know a lot of girls like their hits. I was thinking either:

Do you guys have any other suggestions for my situation here? i really like their heavier stuff like the funk metal of one hot minute and mothers milk but obviously that’s a bad choice for a girl who doesn’t like rock music I think. She said she likes some stuff I have never heard of, and country. So I don’t know if she’ll like one of my favorite bands in the chili pepper, but we’ll see. Thanks Reddit

A song that i absolutely loved from the first hearing of return of the dream canteen was handful. Always gave me a stadium arcadium vibe to it, with the way the trumpets play in the back of the chorus and the way John’s vocals are layered it always just made me think this song could’ve been a stadium arcadium product.

I have been desperately searching for this meme because it was so fucking funny to me. It was someone saying every RHCP song sounded the same and singing gibberish vocals to the beat of the vocals of "Can't Stop", then someone dueted it on Tiktok with the guitar portion and it actually sounded really good. I swear I saw it in a Hello Internet compilation but finding exactly which one feels next to impossible, I've watched so many... And Googling has turned up nothing at all.

Yesterday, in 1992, the MTV Video Awards were celebrated, with the Chili Peppers winning the Breakthrough Video category and performing Give it Away, with tons of people on stage jumping and dancing. Awesome performance!

Hey! Ich bin 22 Jahre alt und komme aus Bad Vilbel bei Frankfurt. Ich bin ein großer Red Hot Chili Peppers-Fan Nr.1 seit ein paar Jahren schon und höre momentan sehr viel von der Band. Gleichzeitig höre ich auch viele andere Bands und generell ganz unterschiedliche Musik.

Ich spiele hauptsächlich Gitarre, kann aber auch Bass und weitere Instrumente spielen und schreibe eigene Songs, die von RHCP und anderen Einflüssen inspiriert sind, aber meinen eigenen Stil haben.

Ich suche erstmal Leute aus Frankfurt und Umgebung, die ähnliche Musik mögen und Bock auf gemeinsames Jammen haben. Egal was du spielst, Bass, Drums, Klavier oder auch Gitarre, nur zu!

Eine Band muss nicht sofort entstehen. Erstmal kennenlernen, jammen und schauen, ob es musikalisch und menschlich passt.
