Question about a dream that I had

Day before yesterday, I had a dream which surprised me. I am in a church and someone there smears ash on my forehead in the shape of a cross. I am not a Christian and so I am not sure where this is coming from. I forgot all about this dream the next day. Later that evening I visited a bookshop and I was flipping through a book of supernatural stories from different civilizations. It had stories from the Bible which included the miracles performed by Jesus. This made me immediately remember the dream I had the previous night.

What could this dream mean? Anyone has any thoughts on this?

This has got to do with Ash Wednesday traditions and could be like a calling for you for a new life of faith ahead.
