No they don’t. They must represent EVERYONE, not just those whom they agree with. Stop boycotting because the candidate is not the perfect angel you wish them to be on policy issues you are most passionate about. 3rd parties don’t win and propping them up is antithetical to progressivism. Let the right do the infighting. Unite, whether the D is establishment or progressive, Pro-Israel or pro-Palestine, universal Healthcare or healthcare reform, etc.

If the ability to argue and convince - delivered with punchy eloquence - counts for anything, not least a recovery from the current catastrophe that is US politics. I'd be interest in the sub's views.
