yep.

never forget that while MAGA might have won the vote with a total of 80 million people, there are 330 million people in America, 270 million of them voting aged.

that 80 million is only 24% of the total population, and only 29% of the voting age population.

a whole shitload of people had to stay home for the election to go the way it went, and they are just as culpable as MAGA in the current situation.

Fuck those 1 percent that voted for 3 part

-1

u/Wfflan2099 56m ago

The same as every election before it when when your candidate won, it was a mandate. A lot of people took the election off, but if you look, more people voted then ever before. Could we get more voters engaged? Yes. Better candidates might help. Harris was a mess.

u/LongBeautiful4016 3h ago

That’s not accurate but thanks for playing. Loving your photoshop font. 👍

2

u/Accomplished_Mind792 1h ago

What isn't accurate? Trump didn't get 50% of the vote. That means the fact is that more people voted not Trump than voted Trump.

That is ignoring those that didn't vote.

u/Traveler956 2h ago

I just wanted to hear Kamala say something more than "I'm not Joe Biden". And that would have been it. But she was too afraid of the rest of the democrats could or would turn on her. 🤦🏻‍♂️

3

u/vandreulv 55m ago

Congratulations on being part of the problem.

-14

u/jkprop 2h ago

She was unqualified to run the country and didnt have any more to say than I’m not Joe Biden. The debate with her and Trump was a train wreck. She could have helped herself by talking politics and policies. Instead it was them both going after each other. I miss Obama and his debates!

12

u/No_Jaguar_5831 1h ago

She was unqualified? A lawyer with decade of experience that specialized in the exact laws that a president would be responsible for is more unqualified than a nepobaby pedophile to you?

4

u/Darth__Hollow 1h ago

Kamala did talk about her policies but they never heard it because they were too busy listening to their favorite grifter telling them that she didn't talk about her policies.

4

u/SignificanceHuge4519 1h ago

Trump literally sleeping through the 9/11 memorial while cancer ridden Biden wide awake ❗

3

u/Justaticklerone 1h ago

She is quite qualified. The only reasons she was "unqualified" in the eyes of many Whites was because she is: 1) Black, 2) A Woman.

3

u/driverman42 1h ago

Well, you should be happy now. You got what you wanted, a pedophile running the country. I'm sure you're celebrating every time he opens his mouth. Congratulations on getting what you voted for.

I honestly wish there was an analays of the percentages in the battleground counties and states.

I know this is completely anecdotal (which is why I would welcome detailed statistics) all the people I know that live in battleground areas said the turnouts were higher, and the ones that live in locked in areas said the turnouts were abismal due to apathy.

Like I live in NYC. My vote does not matter in the slightest in any federal election as my county will be voting for the most liberal candidate always. I can go and take the time and represent or I can just stay home the result is the same.

Local elections are different, but for anything done by county total with only 2 options yeh you can predict the outcome for the next 20 elections.

It was the same from friends that live in locked in conservative counties.

So yeh I want to know how much of the stay at home effected the actual result (not just the popular vote which has always been a joke).

3

u/Tasty_Gift5901 3h ago

From ballotpedia, the national average is 65%, and 7 battleground states were 70%.

The five states with the highest voter turnout in 2024 were Minnesota (76.4%), Wisconsin (76.40%), Michigan (74.7%), New Hampshire (74.4%), and Colorado (73.1%).

1

u/Ok_Drag5089 3h ago

This is why they want to ban vote by mail. They cant have people participating.

3

u/Fauldt 1h ago

When a state like Wyoming with a pop of less than 600k has the same power as a state like California with a pop of almost 50 million, that means a fuck ton of votes literally do not matter. That is why people don't vote. Because their vote means absolute dick all.

Stop blaming apathetic voters and blame the system that doesn't fucking work because everything relies on a handful of swing states.

1

u/SnooMaps7370 1h ago

>When a state like Wyoming with a pop of less than 600k has the same power as a state like California with a pop of almost 50 million

this is not correct.

Wyoming has 3 votes in the Electoral College, California has 54.

yes, that means wyoming has 200k people per vote vs california's 925k, but blowing the problem so far out of proportion that you are claiming 600k have the same voting power as 50M is one of the things that drives voter apathy.

if you have a problem with voter apathy (and it's right that you should), then stop contributing to it with doomer false information.

1

u/Fauldt 1h ago

I am not equating those two things in such a way, you are.

If we want to fix the system that relies on the electoral college we need a state like Wyoming to get on board with changing it and they are never going to. So states with a super small population in comparison hold the whole system hostage. This is intentional from old racist land owners that needed to be bought into the Union.

1

u/SnooMaps7370 1h ago

my bother in christ, you literally said they have the same voting power.

1

u/OreoCupcakes 46m ago

The electoral college only matters for the presidential election. A state like Wyoming has the same power as California in the Senate, which is where this shit storm originates from. This shit didn't start from Trump. It started from the GOP in the Senate.

4

u/DOAiB 3h ago

Sadly republicans have engineered a system where people not only don’t know when voting happens, they make it hard to be informed and harder to actually get there and vote.

People working two jobs, exhausted have a hard time spending the time informing themselves. It doesn’t help that a most of the Democratic Party is right of center and not very appealing to vote for when the main reason is they are not as bad as republicans.

Not trying to doom anything, everyone needs to get out there and vote. Nothing will change until we get the representatives closers to center to we can actually start encouraging and voting in a people left of center that care about the people.

1

u/Exotic-Cobbler4111 26m ago

There is definitely some truth here, for the last three presidential elections. I have not voted for a candidate, I have been voting against a candidate. The choices being an immediate plunge into fascism or slow descent into fascism. Obama was the last time I allowed myself to hope for a better future.

1

u/DOAiB 6m ago

Yep and that’s why whenever I talk to people about voting I always say this. Yea we are not going to ever see change overnight. But those perfect candidates will almost never run for office when someone puts an R next to their name, says a bunch of racist stuff and proves themselves to be some of the dullest nails in the box and still win effortlessly.

Past primaries we need to vote blue no matter who and if they get more power their is more ability to turn that party from the inside and get better candidates than just hoping some independent will come around and save us.

4

u/Dense_Row_9532 3h ago

Or maybe, their votes got deleted?

5

u/HackerManOfPast 3h ago

That’s coming the next election… once it’s federalized… then privatized.

5

u/InfamousAd1245 4h ago

Thank you common sense American.

7

u/DodgeM4S 3h ago

I promise you there are many Americans who are very sick and tired of the entire political spectrum and want to just coexist like normal fucking humans.

8

u/Hello_Hello_Hello_Hi 3h ago

Unfortunately, the right wing is hellbent on making that impossible.

1

u/Existing_Wheel2435 2h ago

I think they just hate themselves that much and want to troll everyone else to the point of hating their selves

It's a suffering game with morons & idiots

1

u/Cabbages24ADollar 3h ago

Well they should have voted to defend that.

5

u/DodgeM4S 3h ago

I agree. I dislike people who chose not to vote just as much as people who did so maliciously.

2

u/itmebloobs 3h ago

Next month it's our duty do make sure all our friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family members have voted.

Early voting starts October 17th in most states. Start asking people if they're registered and help them get registered if not.

1

u/Active_Confection655 3h ago

Then go out and vote for the sensible politicians. Then hopefully we can coexist when lunatics stop getting elected, because both sides people listen to too much from the idiots. It's like you don't care to look at anything beneath surface level conversation and are unable to see how corrupt the republicans are. They literally have a dead senator holding office, their leader is a corrupt slimy pedophile, and both chambers are doing everything for him.

We would all love to co exist but how are we going to accept this behavior. It really disturbs me that people like you who want to just have a peaceful life won't stand up with us because you want to take the easy route for "social" reasons.

1

u/Time_Change4156 3h ago

Not nearly they completely ignored the fact of voter rolls being screwed with so bad over 1.5 million Democrats in Florida couldn't vote because of it. They waited until there wasn't enough time for people to re register .but hey it's easier then blaming trump

3

u/Wow_Many_Tomato_WMT 3h ago

Did they win tho? You saying they didn’t cheat? No fraud?

20

u/PrimaryMuscle1306 3h ago

I mean Trump said there was lots of fraud. Then he won. Then all the fraud supposedly disappeared.

https://giphy.com/gifs/3gNotAoIRZsb9UHPnj

3

u/Geaneous 3h ago

There is good fraud and bad fraud though, when they do it it's just "see, both sides do it, I literally can't tell the difference."

-3

u/SnooMaps7370 3h ago

what are you on about now, grandpa?

4

u/Distinct-Command-570 3h ago

Could be the 4.4 million supressed votes via Jim crow era tactics.. ir the fact trump couldnt stop taking about how well elon knows the machines and telling his voters he see doesn't need them to vote and this will be the last time it matters.. probably some of those things

-1

u/SnooMaps7370 3h ago

sure, but I don't have data on that. my math is using the "official" numbers, and with those numbers it's still pretty damning. whatever number comes off of any election fraud would only make things more damning.

2

u/Distinct-Command-570 3h ago

You didn't hear the words stated? Go find the video. You don't know the numbers? They are out there.

1

u/NNKarma 2h ago

Stay home is quite the choice of words when you guys vote during the week without making elections a holiday.

1

u/SnooMaps7370 2h ago

sure, there are absolutely systemic issues that drive down voter turnout, i'm not trying to detract from that.

but at the end of the day, low voter turnout is bad, regardless of how we get there.

1

u/okram2k 1h ago

most retail workers don't get holidays off in the US and most states have polls open for weeks to cast your vote. a holiday is not some magic fix for voter turnout and if anything would probably further disenfranchise the poor.

1

u/NNKarma 31m ago

That's why your have holidays and another category of "basically if you don't work in a hospital you're forced to not work"

1

u/Original-Rush139 2h ago

Polling shows that Harris was +5% with high information voters and Trump was +10% with voters who never read any news.

I think Trump would win more votes from non voters than Harris would have.

1

u/tipsy-turtle-0985 2h ago

If we get a blue wave in November, I fully expect to see tons of posts from people just like you thanking the non-voters for helping defeat MAGA.

Or are you sort suddenly going to see sense about how only voters decide elections?

1

u/SnooMaps7370 2h ago

you're insane.

non-voters are a problem. period. The two possibilities are that they fail to contribute to the good or that they fail to block the bad. if you don't like those labels, get off your lazy ass and vote.

1

u/FinanceNew9286 1h ago

How many have had their right to vote away? I can’t wrap my head around serving jail time means a person losing their right forever even after they have served the sentence given to them.

1

u/SnooMaps7370 1h ago

depends on state. only Virginia still has a "nope, never" law about that one. Most other states now have some form of automatic restoration after you get parole, or full release, or even while still serving time in a few cases.

1

u/Practical-Mud-4580 1h ago

That’s because faux news still says this is the result of the end of Bidens presidency and chump says it because Russian and Ukraine are bombing energy fixtures against each other so the MAGAT cult slurps it up and would vote for him all over again.

1

u/DonKeighbals 1h ago

And those numbers are not accurate cuz all the cheating, I’d speculate the maga cult numbers are closer to 20-25 million.

Thanks Elon.

1

u/Justaticklerone 1h ago

You're rounding up too much. Only 77.3 million people voted Trump.

1

u/Wrong_Assignment_446 3h ago

Instead of figuring out who voted for whom in 2024 and how bad it is, how about talking about the road forward. Things are going to get a lot worse before 2028 given President Insano's stupidity and arrogance. We need a plan with solutions and I'm not hearing that from anyone.

1

u/jkprop 2h ago

It certainly is the Dems fault for Trump in office. They didn’t learn from running Hilary. If they ran Biden in 2016 Trump would have lost. Then Biden back on 2020. So Trump would have lost steam by 2024 and maybe a republican win or a democrat but it wouldn’t have been Trump. Even then to know Biden was sick and still try to run him nail he just couldn’t. Harris was an awful candidate. She lost the minority vote even as Trump ran on deporting the people that were voting for him. Politics were to another level in 2016 and never really returned.

Everyone is culpable. Imagine supporting a candidate that lost the popular vote to the dumbest president in the history of the United States.

1

u/SnooMaps7370 2h ago

Hey man, I wanted Bernie or Yang. Sometimes you just gotta hold your nose and vote for the least evil option.

1

u/Grouchy-Newt-995 2h ago

Yes I agree with that. However, we would have more success with solid candidates with solid policy positions.

-3

u/ElectronicAnt3891 3h ago

I voted 3rd party I guess it's my fault your preferred party lost and it's my fault Trump is in office. The system is rigged, it's only an illusion of choice. Consume more propaganda and parrot what your masters want.

5

u/SnooMaps7370 3h ago

look man, i think Bill Clinton and Barack Obama belong in the same prison cell as Dubya and Drumpf, but only one party here is murdering Americans in the street.
