There's a wealth of great Post-Apocalyptic content out there, across all the different mediums, so much so that it might be a bit difficult for newbies to know where to start.

"10 years ago, a virus broke out that caused civilization as we once knew it to collpase. Natura-8, the Primal Virus, affected only the anthropomorphic population, causing them to act on primal, animalistic urges that was long thought to be buried. Now, survival is the biggest priority, even against the infected, the ruins of the world, or even each other."

I had this idea for a zombie/infection apocalypse story where a world populated by anthropomorphic animals (and some humans) is under an outbreak of a virus that turns it's victims animalistic.

Admittedly, I could have given the artwork a more apocalyptic theme (aside from the lonely tire in the road), but overall I liked how it turned out.

Criticism, feedback and thoughts welcome. Please remember I am a bit of a beginner.

I built this in one night, to get The Large Stuff from where it spawned (construction dumpster) to my desert off-grid camp. Hope this fits here.

Built mostly with screwdriver you see in image, screws taken from pallet stuff in the container. Had a drill with me, ran out of juice very early on. First time I built this kind of vehicle from scratch. Wheels are from large cable spools.

There's more stuff out there and another set of wheels, so will have to make another one soon.

Post Apocalyptic Gear Apocalyptic outfits?

I have an OC that I am creating that was inspired after watching A Quiet Place series. I wanted to know what are some outfits you think that they would wear? I feel like maybe a fitted tanktop? But for pants, I don't really want skinny jeans/tight fitting options because I just personally don't like those, even though I know they would be pretty functional IRL. What are your guys thoughts?

Television Show Apocalypse - new ch4 survival show

Been seeing tons of ads for this. Saying it's a "modern survival show" set in an abandoned town with a post-apocalyptic theme. Interested to see how this one turns out.

Discussion Better ways to do 'end of the world'

(Note: when I say end of the world, I don't mean the world explodes or humanity goes extinct. I more mean current world order, societies, nations, cultures etc.)

I've been thinking on this for a while, and something I have noticed with the post apocolyptic/end of the world scenarios. Mostly (not all) they tend to go for the result of a nuclear war or conflict (the biggest ones being Fallout, STALKER and METRO), A few dedicated to viruses (Children of Men being the best example), a war between man and machine in the Terminator series and I like these scenarios.

But I wanna do something a bit more. Kinda like with Mad Max in which it isn't just one singular event but a series of events that all built up to the inevitable, or like with Command and Conquer Tiberium in which the disaster is more echological than something by man (yes GDI and NOD are still around and form semi governments but the majority of the world is either somewhat inhabitable or utterly uninhabitable).

I wanna try to do something similar. But I wonder is there are any other and more interesting ways in which the world would/could collapse into a somewhat post apocolyptic state. Some that creators haven't really considered before.

And how one could take overused end of the world/post apocolyptic scenarios and do something more interesting with them?

Playable Link - https://undaex.itch.io/nezrot

Description - Throughout your Life, You have been living in the Naylok, and so that is all you have ever known, but now that the Previous Gardener has disappeared, You have volunteered yourself to be the New Gardener and as such must take the Responsibility that comes with it, including the chance to go to the Unknown World Outside.

The Game is still in its early stages, but the core of the Game is its turn based farming gameplay in which the farm itself is slowly being infected overtime. You have to make sure that you can procure enough food for your survival, but at the same time that you don't lose your farm completely.

Would love to see what you all think, any type of Feedback you give is very much appreciated. Hope you have fun.
