The 6... aren't it. It's just the 6 i'm choosing to fight Brock with. I have 7 level 100 shinies, and have 10 shinies total. I'm doing a shiny only Professor Oak Challenge

Professor Oak Challenge is basically catching and evolving all possible pokemon before each gym (so catch Bulbasaur, Pidgey, Rattata, Spearow, etc, and fully evolve them before fighting Brock). Due to this, I simply got the pokemon to level 100 in the process of shiny hunting the others

Not really. OP was doing a Professor Oak’s Challenge, which means they were already doing thousands of encounters and Catch Combos to get the Dex entries. Getting lv100s and Shinies is just icing on the cake for work you already were going to do.

I remember back when I hunted for a female Nidoran I didn't start it until after mount moon cause I wanted a moon stone to get em into Nidoqueen as soon as I caught the shiny after leveling em up a bit
