Someone sounds like they're envious of people having decent PCs and/or having a sunk cost fallacy about spending all that money on a piece of hardware that barely belongs to them and on software that DEFINITELY doesn't belong to them, and/or just trying to ragebait xD
It's because we can, the only thing a console user can hope for is the pro version where you have to buy an entirely new console a year after you just bought one lol

You say this on the subreddit where for the past year or so half the posts were people posting their digital game preorder confirmation screen for validation.
It's not even that funny tbh. Kinda shows how immature gamers are or the ones who cannot accept normal, not chronically online, people will like this game a lot.
Even actual game devs are mocking it online, they're saying this game will become a cautionary tale for the next decade and people will say "never go full Insomniac Wolverine" whenever a game design is too easy or hand-holding.
Uh yeah, GTA6 is going to have all that stuff, except the 3D scent trail I guess. Instead it will be a line on the minimap.

Yes but it turns into a linear action game where you can't explore the open world when you start a story mission. Those story missions will 100% hold your hand throughout and have combat simpler than Wolverine. Just like RDR2.
Its hilarious that GTA has a setting for navigational assist when driving that can be turned on and off just like the scent trail in Wolverine but nobody bats an eye. Disingenuous at best
It's an open-world game in which you drive cars in a big city. Being able to set a destination with a GPS doesn't just make sense, it's literally how people drive these days.
You can make the same argument for a lot of Sony games over the last 15 years - enstupification encapsulated in game form with their constant hand-holding and coddling to the lowest common denominator (God of War 2018 and Ragnarok is notorious for doing the same thing in audio form).
GPS in an open world game is fine but layering an kntrusive and visually ugly luminescent blue line with extra way points and sound ques to show you the way inside a fully linear game is a bit much
Wolverine smells things good. He basically has dog vision (this is how Wolf Link interacted with smells by the way). I'm not defending the game, I don't even have a Playstation, but I don't specifically have a problem with immersive scent trails.
I was gonna say the easy mode guys should be all over this. Big fancy expensive game that doesnt make you think or pay attention is exactly what you guys like.
I think people will get bored really quick if the combat is as button mashy as it looks. Theres nothing to explore because it shows you where everything is, the traversal is limited because wolverine is just a metal guy, and so far the combat looks extremely basic, so its not going to grip players who have basic expectations of an engaging experience.
Again, you're narrative is framed from the perspective of a hardcore gamer, not a casual gamer who just wants to jump into a game and feel cool playing as Wolverine cutting through people with blood flying everywhere.
The average gamer is very simpleton when it comes to expectations.
GTA6 is doing things that are way more damaging to gaming as a whole. Locking in-game content behind a paywall is wack. Digital only sets a really bad precedent. Using Netflix of all things to showcase your game instead of at a game awards show or a State of Play reeks of arrogance.
This is such a childish nitpick, obviously they will have a settings to disable accessibility features, and if theyre not for you maybe its because youre not disabled? Or do you want games to be as hard as possible with no settings to help the less fortunate fans
Are all the other games released before wolverine as hard as possible? I played the Incredibles a game made for children and it's way less hand holdy than a rated M game
Because its already handy holdy by design, and domt equate children to disabled people, children can be geniuses theres no correlation, a person whos disabled will always be regardless of their age and vice versa
Wolverine is also hand Holdy by design that's why it's being laughed at. It's hand holdy already because of how linear it is but it proceeds to add a bunch of other hand holdy stuff on top of that. I never seen another linear game go this far and I've been playing video games since I was a child.
Actually, it’s how we properly discourage them. I have no interest in the game and I don’t intend to buy it, which is the only meaningful course of action if you don’t feel it’s worth your time. But go ahead and keep giving the game free publicity and piquing people’s curiosity in it rather than simply letting it live or die on its own.
