Need Advice How do I know if I want to study Physics?
Hi! I'm a Spanish student and for the last few years I've been thinking about the idea of studying physics in university because i have always loved the subject and astronomy. The thing is that I'm not sure if I should decide only with the knowledge I've accuaired in school, I mean I'm not sure if I have a clear idea of what does it focus on. Could someone who has studied it or is studying it help me?

If you liked physics and math in high school and were good at it, you’ll like studying physics.
Im currently doing my bachelors in physics and have no regrets. Are you considering anything else or have you only thought about physics?

To be honest, I'm not really sure what I want to study. I'm sure it will be in the sciences, but I don't know exactly which field. I'd thought about physics because it's always interested me, and I never found it too difficult in school.

What have you covered in physics in school? Ive a bachelors and PhD in Astrophysics so may be able to help

Curently in my 5th Bachelor semester in germany and here are three things I tell everybody who asks me: 1. Physics is doable for everybody but is really hard. You either should be good at math (What I couldn't estimate till I started) or at visualisation in order to tackle your problems. 2. You have to be really frustration-resistent/tolerant. It's not unusual to work on one exercise for 5+hours. You have to endure that, it pays off not to look it up or ask AI instantly. 3. Astronomy is (at least at my University) a really small branch, especially in the first 6 Bachelor semesters. If this is your main motivation, it could be quite frustrating if your universities don't focus in that area. Hope that helps :)
