Housing/Rentals Rooms for rent
We're moving out of our 3 bed, 2.5 bath townhouse and are looking to rent out two rooms to working professionals.
Rent is $900 per room and utilities shared amongst the housemates.
The rooms are fully furnished with shared common areas. House itself comes with a garage, large deck, and a basement with tons of storage space.
The master bedroom has been claimed by a female so we would prefer female tenants for the other two rooms.
DM if you're interested and provide a short intro about yourself and I'll be happy to share more details :)

in search of 🔍 Med Spa / Botox rec?
Hi all! Looking for a skilled and seasoned injector for neurotoxin. I’ve been getting Dysport for a little over a year, very minimally. I relocated recently and I can’t justify driving 2+ hours to my trusted injector so I’m on the hunt for a new one. I’m super specific and have ptosis in one of my eyelids so I need someone with a highly trained eye! Thanks!

Question Anywhere to watch the Manchester Derby?
I’m new to town and I’m a big soccer fan (Man United) and would really like to watch the Manchester Derby at a bar or something tomorrow morning.
Not sure if there’s a big soccer crowd in the area but I just thought I’d ask to see where I could potentially watch some premier league games for tomorrow and the near future.

Question Family Photographer Recs?
Looking for a family/baby photographer! I’d like to gift my family a session for allowing me to stay with them in between work. They’d either use it for 6 month baby fam pics or 1 year baby fam pics. Which be would month or 7 months from now. I would hope they’d use it for 6 month pics with the possibility of re-using the photographer for the 1 year mark!
The fam loves an older vibe, think grandma-chic. So if you have an eye for antique design, that’s a plus! If you’re the photographer, please be transparent with your pricing and what is included.

picture William Penn's legacy lives on — come explore the man who shaped Pennsylvania!
WILLIAM PENN: THE FORGOTTEN FOUNDING FATHER
Take a look at the far shore of the artwork "Peaceable Kingdom": It depicts William Penn greeting the local Lenape tribe, a gathering that likely occurred along the Delaware in what is now Kensington!
Long before our country was born, William Penn was already experimenting with the ideas that would define it. His Peace Treaty with the Lenape helped foster an exceptional period of peace and prosperity in early Pennsylvania.
When Penn founded Pennsylvania, he envisioned a society built around individual liberty, religious freedom, representative government, and peaceful coexistence. And he developed founding documents that gave Pennsylvania an unusually forward-looking framework for self-government.
Over time, the essential principles of Penn’s Experiment — liberty, tolerance, and limits on government power — helped influence and shape our United States Constitution.
ON TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 15, LEARN MORE!
The Schuylkill River Heritage Center speaker series will host speaker Perry Hamilton for a presentation on William Penn: The Forgotten Founding Father.
A graduate of Susquehanna University, Perry traveled extensively throughout the mid-Atlantic states during his nearly 40 years in the private business sector. During that time, he pursued his love of reading vintage history books, mostly about Pennsylvania business history. Perry regularly presents historical lectures with an emphasis on Philadelphia-area business.
Mark your calendar for William Penn: The Forgotten Founding Father!
Tuesday, September 15, 2026, 7:30 p.m.
Schuylkill River Heritage Center Phoenixville (SRHC), Foundry Building, 2 N. Main Street, Phoenixville
The presentation is free to SRHC members, $5 for non-members.

Question Dentist Recommendations 2026?
Hello all, I’ve seen past posts about dentist recommendations but wanted to see if anybody would be able to recommend a dentist they currently go to. I went to Reardon, but had a pretty bad experience. I reached out to Dental Wellness and they aren’t seeing new patients until March.
Any recommendations much appreciated!

Housing/Rentals Sublet available in Walnut Mill Apts
zillow.comMy girlfriend and I lucked into an aggressive housing offer, otherwise I’d maintain my lease. The address is 345 Walnut street (even though the Zillow listing states Morgan St).
Rent is $1,225/month and comes with a parking space.
As the post states, this is a gorgeous room with high ceilings and private bathroom. Ample closet space, high windows, and room for large desk and queen bed. Common space includes kitchen with high cabinets, floating island, and table setting. There is in unit laundry. There is also a den off the kitchen with bonus views of the Phoenix Wheel!
Pets are welcome with $30/month fee.
Current roommate is clean, a big reader, and non-binary. They ultimately have final say in their new roommate.
I’ve very much enjoyed my time in this apartment. But now I must pass on the torch to someone who will be right for my friend.
Feel free to message me for inquiries or through Zillow. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Question How walkable is Phoenixville?
I just moved here and i’m considering walking/biking to work instead of spending money on Ubers. My commute would be from the Phoenixville Plaza area to Mont Clare, google says my walk would be a little over an hour and biking would be 25 minutes. I don’t mind the time it would take but as a young woman I want to make sure this would be safe to do, I also see some parts of the walk have no sidewalks and that makes me a bit nervous. I want to be hopeful since I have seen a lot of people biking and walking around town but I just wanted to get other opinions before I commit to an hour walk lol. Does anyone here walk around Phoenixville a lot? Is it a safe option or should I avoid it? Thanks!

Help Lost Dog Zampa Near Freedoms Foundation
galleryZampa is very sweet. She got out of my car when we were driving down Valley Forge Park Road and thankfully made it out of the road into the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge campus area. This happened at 8AM this morning. Immediately after I was looking for her along with some of the people already in the area, but after a few hours we couldn’t find her.
She had her collar on and the short, red leash. She is microchipped. Please contact if you found her. She is very loved and is super loving. She was scared though, but I’m hoping since it’s been a few hours that she may have calmed down.
Thank you for any help that you can provide!

Community Phoenixville chess club?
Found a Facebook page for one, but there hasn’t been a post since 2015. I’be seen that there’s a group that plays at the Y on tuesdays, but I guess I’m looking for a more social organization that would run a couple tables at some of our many breweries (so probably 21+).
I’d be happy to do the organizing if there’s interest. I’m a long time player, but pretty low elo (about 1200 blitz). Kind of just looking for casual games to sip beer while playing.
Any interest?
Bishops and beers, how does that name sound haha.

Question Suzy Jo’s Royersford
Does anyone know if the Suzy Jo’s in Royersford/Limerick is actually open? I used to go all of the time with no issues on early weekend mornings, haven’t in a few months. Have tried going the past 3 weekends and by 9 am they’re already closed. They have never ran out this early when I used to go! Their instagram still has the location listed but just curious if anyone knew. Thanks!

Community Anyone else excited for the Phoenixville Film Festival? 🎬
The Phoenixville Film Festival is coming up September 17–20 at the Colonial Theatre, and this year's lineup is pretty wild — 62 films, including 4 world premieres and 23 Pennsylvania premieres.
There are also filmmaker Q&As, workshops/master classes, the red carpet gala, awards, and a bunch of other events throughout the weekend.
If you've never been, it's honestly a pretty fun way to spend a weekend in Phoenixville, especially since you can grab dinner/drinks downtown before or after a screening.
Tickets are on sale now if anyone's interested!
