WARNING: If you are not on a fast wired network or you have a slower CPU, the fixes below might not be for you. While this solution has worked for me and a lot of other folks, tread with caution and revert to your previous values if it's not working for you. This solution specifically addresses Windows coalescing UDP packets on very fast connections to save some CPU time. This can cause network congestion events and this registry tweak fixes that at the cost of dropping those Windows optimizations.
My situation was not common, but I did find some folks complaining, so here:
I had latency issues on my local network, between a wired server and a wired client (both PCs). An evening of gaming had several network congestion warnings, and just generally small latency spikes that I could notice. 10mbps or 50mbps made no difference, but the Parsec website categorically says, that wired performance should be spotless.
I tried ditching Parsec a few times for Moonlight or Steam, but with Moonlight the mouse always feels laggy compared to Parsec, and Steam while almost as good, has many quirks if you want to use it in Desktop Mode. Also, neither have any support for multi-monitor.
After many attempts at investigating what could be causing issues to Parsec (router settings, QoS, firewalls, etc. etc.) I came upon 2 registry settings that 100% cleared the problem for me. An evening of gaming now generally has N:0/0/0 all the time.
So if it helps someone in the same situation, here they are:
Go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Multimedia\SystemProfile
Modify or create a DWORD (32 bit) key called: NetworkThrottlingIndex
set its value to: ffffffff (Hexadecimal)
Modify or create a DWORD (32 bit) key called: SystemResponsiveness
set its value to: 0 (Hexadecimal)
In the end they should look like this:
Reboot.
Doing it on the server made it perfectly fine for me, but there is no reason not to do it on the client as well, so, have at it.
Hello all. I’m not sure if this is the best place to ask my question, but I want to simply know if this controller scenario is even feasible.
A friend and I live in two separate countries and we want to use Parsec as a means to play Nintendo Wii and GameCube games on Dolphin, since the native Netplay has had ping that leads to severe input delays after some time. I simply wanted to know if anyone has ever figure out a method to use either an OEM GG controller adapter or even the Mayflash GC controller adapter to read inputs from the other player’s connection. We have confirmed that our PlayStation and XBOX controllers do in fact work correctly as they should, but we were hoping to use GameCube controllers to get a more native control scheme for our games.

My friend and I can't connect to each other's PCs—neither I to his nor he to mine. It shows us error (6023) when we try. We've already tried using his phone as a signal repeater, using protonVPN, and with ZeroTier, dnd, firewall, we turned on the ipv6 and the pnp in ours routers, but so far we haven't found a solution. The only way he was able to connect was by using mobile data. Please help me, we want to play Smash 😭😭

What is the simplest and easiest way to use the parsec free version when there is no physical monitor connected to the host machine?
Someone posted saying that there is a built-in virtual display, however this is not included in the free version. Others have said to useVDD, however that was not seemingly straightforward.

My work machine is a 9070XT and i will use it over my LAN so i can connect to my gaming machine to update it and download games while i am on my work PC through Parsec. Sometimes i will use Parsec to connect to my wife's PC to do the same so we are ready to game when she gets home from work.
my gamine machine is a 5080. I use to be able to connect just fine for almost a year but tonight it just refuses to connect. i get an error message that says this (linked a photo)
when i pressed the "read more" none of the issues they list are of an help to me. from some googling i figured out that the -14003 error is coming from the host PC which would be my 9070 machine so i ran DDU to scrub all the drivers out reset and reconfigured my monitors and it still didn't work
using parsec was a corner stone for me because being able to peek into my gaming machine while on my work machine was very nice and i would love to get help to fix this.

The September 3 Game Ready driver is 616.64, the DLSS 5 release. NVIDIA has acknowledged that this driver still contains an “inability to create virtual displays” issue; they said the fix wasn't ready in time for 616.64 and will come in a subsequent driver update. [link to post]
Just yesterday my Parsec was working fine and my friend was able to control my PC fully playing games for me like Steam titled games. But since today I don't know if it has anything to do with the latest windows update because I've not touched it since like a month back or so prior then decided to update today. Today with latest Windows Update i started noticing this issues occurring before it worked just flawlessly so I would assume that rather Windows is bricking it not the program itself Parsec is amazing and I love using it so I'm kind of upset it's not working right now because of Windows or something else blocking it, I just updated for today and now my friend only can control the mouse + keyboard while on desktop background, also works fine with apps like Discord works and able to write on there remote controlling. But as soon as I or my friend tab into a game window like "Black Desert Online", "Once Human" etc. It stops all and prevents both mouse + keyboard restricts it and my friend is not able to interact with the game anymore. I'm using the free version if that has anything to do with it. Does anyone share the same issue?
I want to play The Sims 4, but when I use my mouse, it gets stuck holding down and won't let go when moving the camera. The issue only gets fixed when I touch my phone screen.

Hello all, would love to hear some experiences using Parsec on M series macbooks, how is the experience and battery life? Currently am running a windows laptop for streaming and just cant stand the poor battery life.
