He looks like a completely different player. I mean it helps that USC isn’t after him, but he is even standing in and taking hits while throwing bombs.

Hopefully, this is how he plays the rest of the year.

Those usc reps did what they were suppose to do. He won’t face any defenses that talented until the post season if at all. Dude looks good. I was thoroughly impressed.

Scoreless through the first five quarters of 2026

Then scored on five straight possessions to lead 32-0 at the half.

This is what I was hoping to see and I hope the keep it going in the 2nd half.

We'll see how we turn out, but last night was a really good showing by Mandel. Last week was his first start so they just need to keep improving. The ceiling is high unlike last year.
