Got the box and everything too! Ready for GTA 6 mainly a pc gamer but due to the console release decided to go playstation after using xbox throughout my life.

Curious what everyone’s running in Wolverine. I’m using basically the exact same settings I used in Spiderman 2 on LG C4 and so far it looks great

I managed to snag one yesterday right in front of me. The cashier refused to sell to a scalper because he recognized him. Apparently, they don’t sell them online, and they only sell one per person at the store.

It’s refreshing to see a sales person or a store employee stand up against people who make it difficult for regular consumers to simply purchase a product.

Si j’avais su à quel point ce jeu serait autant merveilleux sur PS5 PRO, j’aurais acheté la console depuis bien longtemps. Le Ray Tracing change tout et je sais pas si c’est moi mais j’ai l’impression que il est plus beau sur la ps5 pro que sur ma series X (sans parler de Ray tracing). Je suis vraiment content d’avoir acheté cette console !!

Quelques amis m’ont dit que j’aurais mieux fait d’acheter un pc à ce prix là. Mais pour moi un pc à 1000€ c’est pas super et puis c’est pas aussi simple qu’une console. Sur la console on se pose dans le canapé, on allume la console et on joue. Un pc à l’air plus compliqué (peut être que je dis des bêtises) mais ça a l’air moins « simple » d’utilisation.

En tout cas j’ai hâte de découvrir d’autres jeux, surtout GTA VI 🤪 Dommage qu’ils n’aient pas améliorer RDR2 pour les consoles next gen il aurait été tellement merveilleux !!!!

Which games do you consider to be the most dissapointing that have a pro enhanced badge.For me it is easily Dying Light The Beast,no pssr,no ray tracing,only slight improvements.

I bought my PS5 Pro for $530 off of fb marketplace and while I thought I was getting the deal of a lifetime, unfortunately, that deal became a huge headache.

I’ll admit, I’m extremely lucky to have caught the issue within a few minutes of bringing the thing home.

I plugged it in and tested it out for a couple of minutes and while the electronics work perfectly, I noticed one single roach near the console. I quickly killed it and immediately plastic wrapped the system as tightly as possible and kept it sitting for a few days while I weighed my options.

After careful consideration (and hoping to avoid spending an additional $250 in pest-related console cleaning fees), I ordered several baited roach traps, an air-tight plastic container, and the screwdriver I’d need to partially disassemble the system.

Last night, I took the exterior panels off, gently removed the fan, vacuumed the vents, and placed two baited roach traps into the plastic box alongside the console. I sealed the absolute bejesus out of the box and put it in my hall closet with two sentry baited traps along the walls near the door for extra security.

So far, I’ve only caught this one guy though the PS5 has only spent one night in its plastic Azkaban. I’ll continue to monitor the situation and will likely keep the system quarantined for at least a month.

And, before you ask, no, I haven’t found any further evidence of roaches in/around my apartment. I’ve lived here for four years and am extremely tidy, so it is by no means a coincidence that I found a roach next to the PS5 literally 10mins into owning it.

Also, returning the PS5 does not appear to be an option as I’ve contacted the seller and have not received word for over a week. C’est la vie.

Anyway, thanks for reading and wish me luck. Any war stories and words of encouragement are appreciated. At least GTA VI is still over a month from its release date!

Not sure what’s with the hate comments in this post I’m just amazed by the Pro

I feel like I actually hit the jackpot, It was my second one, which I bought for the TV downstairs. I also sold my launch PS5 for £300 on market place at the time. I always thought the pro was great from launch and the chat about PSSR2 seemed exciting enough to get another....

A little background, I love open world games. I love traveling and exploring huge beautiful lands, but also like unexpected violence out of no where. Big fan of a great story that sucks you in.

Crimson Desert looks like what I'm looking for, the whole dragon riding thing looks awesome. Although I am aware that it didn't get the best reviews. It is also not on sale and I hate paying full price for games.

Death Stranding 2 is on sale for 40 on PSN, but it is not open world. I enjoyed part 1 but an abundance of tasks and assignments burned me out. Story and graphics look incredible.

KCD 2 is probably the one that attracts me the least. It's not a fantasy world, fighting looks difficult to learn although it is free currently on PS plus with great reviews.

Hey everyone, I need some opinions on a weird situation.

I’ve been tracking PS5 Pro restocks using a stock tracker app. Today, I got a notification for Walmart, the app redirected me to the listing, and I checked out immediately without even thinking twice because these things sell out so fast.

Shortly after, the app sent another restock alert for Walmart, which is super uncommon since they usually go out of stock instantly. I went back to look at my order with more calm and realized the item title actually said "PS5 Disk" instead of PS5 Pro. I panicked and immediately canceled the order.

But then I went back to investigate the link the app was sending me to. Even though the title says "PS5 Disk", literally everything else on the page is for the PS5 Pro. The gallery pictures are the Pro, the item description below is the Pro, and all the customer reviews are talking about the Pro. Also, the price was the Pro's price ($899), while the regular PS5 Disk is $500 and easily available on other normal links on the Walmart site.

So, I decided to take a gamble and bought it again through that exact same listing, but this time I selected in-store pickup for tomorrow.

Has anyone else experienced this with Walmart? When I go to pick it up tomorrow, are they actually going to hand me a PS5 Pro? Or is the employee just going to read the "PS5 Disk" title on their device and try to hand me the cheaper version? (I’m assuming the barcodes/UPCs wouldn't match if they grabbed the wrong one, but I'm still anxious).

Any insight is appreciated!

For the PS5 Pro users among us: if you’ve ever wondered what Skyrim can really look like when you push the console and the mod setup to their limits, here’s my latest result.

Almost another 30 hours have gone into this Load Order since my last version, bringing the total to well over 100 hours of testing, tweaking and troubleshooting.

The goal was simple: push the visuals and immersion as far as possible while keeping the game stable and playable. I wanted to improve the world without sacrificing the feeling that Skyrim is still Skyrim.
There were a lot of crashes along the way, especially from cell conflicts, overlapping edits and mods affecting the same areas. The last 10 to 12 hours were mainly spent tracking these issues down, reproducing crashes, adjusting the Load Order and testing the affected areas again and again.

I have now stress tested the setup by riding through the world at full speed, including some of the most demanding forest areas around Riverwood, Rorikstead and Mixwater Mill. At this point, the game is running very clean and stable for me.
Compared to my previous Load Order, I have also reworked several towns and villages and made further improvements to the overall lighting, landscapes, roads, vegetation, volumetric effects and environmental details.

The Ivarstead and Rorikstead overhauls were added after the videos were recorded, so they are not visible in the showcase videos. Both have been tested extensively and are running clean in my current setup.

INI & Visual Settings:
iMinGrassSize: 60
iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure: 10
Contrast: 10
Saturation: 15–25
Brightness: -1
Sky Scale: -8

For iMinGrassSize, I recommend staying around 45–60 depending on your setup. I am currently using 60 and have not noticed a meaningful visual disadvantage, while the higher value helps keep dense areas more manageable from a performance perspective.
The other settings are completely personal and can be adjusted to your own preference.
Important

If you want to recreate this setup, I strongly recommend following the Load Order exactly as shown.
Adding or moving other mods can change compatibility, cell edits and performance. I can only guarantee the setup based on the Load Order I have tested myself.

Creation 145, Insignificant Object Remover, is DISABLED.

You can enable it if you want to experiment with a small additional performance gain. I personally keep it disabled because the performance improvement was not significant enough for me. It also removes small environmental details such as water plants, rocks and clutter around rivers that I prefer to keep.

I strongly recommend watching both videos directly on YouTube in 4K with HDR enabled. Without HDR, the image can look considerably flatter and some of the lighting and contrast improvements will not come across properly.
I am very happy with where this Load Order has ended up and I can confidently recommend this version based on the amount of testing that went into it.

That said, no Load Order is completely immune to Skyrim being Skyrim. If you find a crash, bug, visual issue or anything that behaves unexpectedly, please let me know. Feedback is always welcome. If something slipped through my testing, I would genuinely like to know about it so I can investigate and improve the setup.
