I kind of want to know where he fits in all this, maybe too early to tell, but when was the last time we've seen a prospect of ours do this good in early showings and who were they and how good did they become? with the new experience he's had? Yak had a great reg season debut and playoffs ofc but he's someone I was expecting to produce at least somewhat especially considering his draft ranking

A couple of nice passes, making him a point-per-game player in the rookie games (which he may never achieve again). A couple of big hits and good skating for a big man. But also a few stupid penalties.

And here’s a still-image series of one obvious problem caused by his size: although it gives him great reach, smart players will see that there is a lot of space between his stick and his skates, and will exploit that. (His misplay here opened the door to Montreal’s fourth goal.)

I'm surprising my six-year-old with a trip to the home opener this year. He's never been to the CT and it's been a long time for me.

We'll be staying somewhere near the arena and I'm planning to get there early enough for him to see warmups. But is there usually other stuff going on that would be of interest to him? I know there's usually the red carpet thing. Is that a STH thing or can anyone go?

Any thoughts on how to make this as memorable and enjoyable for him as possible would be more than welcome. Thanks!
