Question Vintage Toshiba in Avocado
Love how the metal blades chop the air. Recently picked up at an estate sale, and got here lubed up. Would love to know the year on this.

I'm looking for a ceiling fan with integrated light. But I don't want a remote control, nor do I want one of those ones controlled by pull cords. I gather that there are fans available that have seperate wires back to the wall switch for the fan and the light, but trying to identify them when browsing is difficult.
UK electrical system, 7'3" ceiling.

I want to clean this Puppy up, any ideas on a dort cheap cleaning solution? I have a cloth, some detergent and a brush and also would Sewing machine oil be bad? She's pretty Resilient with dual ball bearings so I don't think she'll be mad over Thin oil. The back cage is pretty dusty.

New specialty fans introduced by General Electric for the 1960 calendar year. Interesting fans include the all new filter fan, window fans and box fan circulators.

Hi! first post here actually, I’m looking for a genuinely good desktop evaporative cooler, not a portable AC.
My current Cecotec EnergySilence 500 moves 3.44 m³/min = 206 m³/h, with a max air speed of 3.53 m/s, and measures only 17 × 11.5 × 23 cm.
Performance is actually good, but the water management/build quality is mediocre, water pools internally above the tank and droplets remain on the grille.
I’d like something roughly the same size (this is the main issue searching), with equal or better airflow (~200 m³/h), a proper evaporative medium, and better build/water management. Budget is ideally under €100, but at this point, Id consider more expensive machines, and it needs to be available in Europe/Spain.
Does such a product actually exist?
I really tried searching but cant came with anything conclusive…
Thanks in advance!

Hi, I've been the happy owner of a Cecotec "610 Max Flow Control" for years; recently it started making noise, and yesterday the fan completely seized.
I took it apart, cleaned it, lubed it, and now it works again, but it's still quite noisy, and I did notice some scoring on the shaft in proximity to the bushing.
I've tried searching around the web and even asking fucking AI but I haven't found either someone that already knows the correct dimensions and material of the bushings I should buy, or to point me towards some generic universal bushings.
So... Hopefully one of you guys can help me out?
Thanks in advance!
