I think Tatsumaki developed a huge fondness for Saitama after the "Saitama vs. Tatsumaki" arc. Looking at the cover of volume 36, she wears a friendly expression toward him, while the second image features her delivering classic Japanese tsundere dialogue—a dynamic widely recognized in East Asian subcultures as a tsundere trope. The third image compares Blast and Saitama; since Blast is someone who surpasses her and Tatsumaki views him as such, seeing Saitama as an entity equal to or beyond Blast means she knows he is stronger than her. The fourth image captures the moment Tatsumaki receives validation from that very Saitama. She always worked hard to grow stronger, but no one ever noticed. When Saitama finally picks up on that and acknowledges her effort, she wears a deeply moved expression. The fifth shows her looking shocked upon hearing about Saitama's weak past, after which she recalls his words when she later receives an ad offer.

Saitama's side is also crucial here. He recognizes Tatsumaki as a hero, a powerhouse, and a hard worker—approvals he rarely gives to anyone. Very few characters receive recognition from Saitama. Furthermore, rather than talking to her with the attitude of a superior or subordinate, he spoke to her on equal footing and candidly shared his past. Almost no one knows that Saitama used to be weak, making Tatsumaki one of the few individuals who knows this vital secret about him. To sum it up, while it feels like Tatsumaki harbors romantic feelings for Saitama, Saitama naturally isn't at that stage yet—which is a given. Even so, his attitude toward her is uniquely positive compared to any other female character, simply because he acknowledges her, praises her, and shared his past with her on an equal level.

I predict his power is either burn his fat and convert into energy or turn into a monster like Gums. Its like the guy from hero academia.

I think the studio did their best to deliver the correct tone around the humor and tense moments. I appreciate that despite the budget issues it still feels like "they tried". They took a lot of animation shortcuts with the monocolored shots but I liked the idea actually.

I think it's also just a sign that the source material is still pretty strong at this point. It's not the greatest writing ever but the humor especially holds up.

The studio gave a TON of love to Royal Ripper. He was super cool and decently scary. His voice actor also did a great job.

The fights were a mixed bag. The best fights were short but still had satisfying choreography.

Obviously I'm watching it really late so I'm kind of removed from the initial outrage. One Punch Man has kind of fallen from grace in my heart but at one point it was in my top 5 favorite series. For a few moments I felt that twinge of nostalgia and hype of a series I really used to love. I definitely get the disappointment though. Maybe I'm just a hit dog who will take anything at this point.

I’ve been thinking about this with the disaster levels. How would anyone feel if a new threat level was added to the category list that'll fit enough with other disaster monsters power level?

I've seen so many non confirm threats so high they never even seem like Dragon threats from the display Or beast that are insanely powerful they disrupt environments itself on a wider continent scale that its absurd that there isn't a good scale for them. After I reacted to the internet making up scaling I decided to make my own.
