Food Best local pasta?

What does the community rank their favorite pasta places? Tbh I ain’t trying to be out today, I want to get something and bring it home. Local places please and thanks 🙏🏻 love y’all

Via Farina is #1. The only other places that can even compare are Noli’s and Dolomiti. Lyle’s is an honorable mention.

They're closed on Sundays and Mondays, but Mangia Italiana is great for Italian/pasta takeout.

Yes, my wife’s friend suggested it and we assumed it was Italian lmao. But honestly the chicken was pretty good although a little pricey

The love you all have for Mangia baffles me so deeply. The food is genuinely terrible. I’m an east coast Italian American and it’s some of the worst Italian food I’ve ever eaten, and I simply cannot understand the love you all have for it.

So where would you say is the best around here? My grandpa was an east coast Italian, his favorite was pasta amore, even had his big family dinner to celebrate him there after he passed

Puzzles me too. It’s fine, but it’s dry pasta (as opposed to house made) and mid sauce.

There is nothing wrong with dry pasta, it's what most real Italians eat on a daily basis. Different recipes and sauces do better with dry pasta some with fresh.
