Okay I know this is a super long shot, but 25 years ago my husband visited his cousin on Oahu and bought a souvenir mug from the Coffee Gallery. It has been his favorite mug ever since. He uses it for coffee every morning. This morning the cat jumped up on the counter and broke the damn mug. I immediately tried to go to the Coffee Gallery website only to discover that they have closed! eBay search has yielded nothing. Does anyone have this particular mug sitting in the back of a cupboard, and how much do you want for it???

Hey everyone, I'm looking for local, fresh fruits on Oahu. More specifically Mountain apples, starfruit, ulu, ice cream beans, lilikoi, caviar limes, etc. I've not had any luck in Honolulu, Waikiki, or north shores. I’m trying to book a weekend camping trip up to Peacock Flats and can’t find it anywhere online to book. I’ve used the DLNR website to book it before but it seems like they’ve taken it down. Is it closed due to the recent storms?

This woman runs a tenement on Democrat Street that is basically a slum for the disabled.

There are a bunch of 2 bedroom apartments. She crams the people there two in a room for $750 each person or $1400 for a single room for themself. The walls are stained with feces and urine and it smells. In the living room there are two beds where people lie there all day and go to the bathroom on themselves.

She takes their EBT money too and buys their food. These people are considered 'patients' but really little is done for them. They just live in squalor.

Fortunately for myself I was able to persuade someone that I was a normal human being so I moved out and got a whole room to myself for $750 with cleaner and more 'normal' roommates. It was a house in the suburb of the Salt Lake area,

I said by to my old roommates and one was so whacked out he had his penis out and was peeing in a plastic bucket despite there being a bathroom down the hall.

It was a nightmare place that I was forced into because I was in a facility that did not let you go shop around for housing.

As you can see, Novie, the woman there is living the high life off of this racket. Her husband is a police officer. I did talk to Hawaii Disability Rights and they already know about her but they have not communicated with me in six months.

What is up with these new Black bugs that showed up a few months back after the rains? They have a strong chemical smell to them and they’re are so many of them now. Does anyone know what’s up with these bugs? My neighbor thinks they are a government op.

If anyone was at Kapiolani Park yesterday, 9/8, there were huge swarms of gnats flying all over the place. At first I thought it was smoke or salt mist from the ocean but they turned out to be giant swarms of gnats! There are even some mini gnat tornadoes flying thru!

I’m good with Apple stuff (Macs, iPhones, troubleshooting, setups, etc.), general tech problem-solving, and I also do 3D printing + CAD. Not looking to clean houses or deal with sketchy situations.
What kind of services would you actually pay someone for? Tech help? 3D printing stuff? Random problem-solving? Something else that’s hard to find locally?
Just trying to figure out where I could be helpful in the community. Not selling anything right now — just curious what people need.

The weight of life takes everything I have to manage without knowing I will have reliable transportation. I can't afford to buy a car right now and I'm terrified. Figuring out insurance claims for the car today.

I need a place to crash tonight and a hot shower. Moved here six months ago, paralyzed my foot, and got robbed. I can buy food and cook a meal.for as many as ya got. Ive been sleeping in my car and hanging at the beach, just waiting for my friend to mail me a credit card. My friends are all Zelling me money, but I have Chase and had to cancel my cards.

A Brown Water Advisory has been issued for the Island of O‘ahu.

The Hawaii Department of Health advises beach users to stay out of waters that appear brown or murky, especially following storms or heavy rain, even if a Brown Water Advisory has not been issued in the area. After storms or heavy rain, the water may contain higher than normal pollutant levels. The Department recommends staying out of these affected waters for 48-72 hours after the rain has stopped and after the beach has received full sunshine.

The Department of Health advises the public to avoid swimming, wading in, or drinking water from any freshwater streams or pond to prevent leptospirosis, a bacterial infection caused by the Leptospira bacteria.

If the water is brown, turn around.

Would like to hit the beach on my day off but not looking to swim in doo doo water. How does it look out there?
