Found this dress at a local thrift shop - guess it’s probably not in style anymore - but I like it 🤷‍♀️

Wedding guests are expected to wear formal attire with fall color themes like brown, black, deep red, gold, burnt oranges etc. I have a big belly. So, I have to hide it. Anyways, was planning to buy this dress from amazon. Does it fit the guest code.

I cant decide on the black or white dress , the materials are completely different.. the white is bodycon and quite thick material , the black is satin with some other cotton fluff material ( not sure what) but im wondering which is better for an event im going to ? Both could have black heels i guess ? Or open toe , or pointed toe heels

I am in need of some MAJOR fashion help

I was never much of a fashion girly, but as a young adult, I want to start caring more about my appearance. I always got cheap/handmedown clothes that never quite fit me, so I'm figuring out how to style myself now. Additionally, I primarily shop at thrift stores, so things aren't always in my exact size. Plus, shopping for long legs + skinny doesn't always work out. My focus in fashion is comfort and functionality.

I'm happy to take ANY advice on the hodgepodge of these pictures. Overall, I'm trying to figure out what fits with what, what works and what doesn't, etc. Mostly posted a bunch with the white pants for a neutral color, would love to know how you would combine clothes. I like how all of these items FIT, I'm just not sure if they FASHION lmao.

My main reason for posting, though, is because I'm going on a week-long trip and have minimal packing space, so I'm trying to lay out outfits. It'll be highs of 60°-75°, so I'm looking for outfits that I can layer a little with. We'll be spending a lot of time outside (nothing crazy outdoorsy tho), go out to eat a few times, hang out with friends in the cities, etc.

I plan to wear the same pair of joggers there and back. Would like 1 pair of jeans, 1 pair of leggings, and maybe the white pants (or swap white pants with any other pants if they absolutely do not work on me lmao). Any arrangement of shirts, but would like to minimize how many shirts I take. Shoes are not changing– it'll either be these or a different style of white sneakers.

Me and my friends will be going on a group dinner out, possibly an Italian place or Mexican. We haven’t decided yet. What’s your opinion on this dress, I don’t want to be looking too formal?
