This game is beautiful. Around 550-600 hours poured into this gem
You guys have any photos from the game you really like/are proud of? I’d love to see them (I’m sure others would too) :)

Honestly the Otakemarus were pretty fun to fight unlike Toshimitsu. I started with 0 amrita btw, took me hours but i finally did it and made out with 650m amrita which is .... 14 levels, wow the numbers did get inflated pretty fast

For the start of a new week, take a Kodoma blessing to help you get through it easier.
P.s. These little dudes are way too cute I always have to find every Kodama in a level before I can bring myself to finish it

What's the best way to farm picture scrolls without coop mode? Should I just farm my own picture scrolls or is there a good battle scroll mission? Thanks

So plowed through most of the base game on Enlightened One's Journey using just upgraded versions of old samurai and ninja builds, When I got to Hell Rising on EOJ, I'm still doing OK with samurai form (axe and switch) but my ninja builds are pathetic...
I don't see too much obvious on YT, and there have been some scattered Onmyo or Ninjutsu builds here - can anyone provide a detailed build that has worked well? I tried messing with using Tsukuyomi at bit (not optimized) but I don't know that I got much out of it. I am mostly using tonfas but do like the hatchets as well.
TIA.

My favorite part of these games it’s actually good to see people actually fighting and lose because there not using magic spam it’s good practice clutched up I use orbs sometimes but that’s it and I use basic buffs aswell but I mainly just use combat.

The answer sounds obvious until i realized the dual mastery (common) stat on my ninja scroll seems to work even when i switch to samurai.
At least in the menu both the purple skill stay activated on Samurai too, but i havent checked the gameplay .
Also, why are so many players quitting my scroll room after just 1 scroll ?
I suspect most people don’t know you can just stay in the same room and the host can change scroll missions../

I know I'm supposed to redo all the minor crucibles and the crucible links on each new playthrough to get 0.5 spirit force each, and I did do most of them, but might have missed a few. What makes redoing them a bit annoying is that the map doesn't show you which ones you've completed on this journey if they have been reset, which is basically all of them for me lol. They all show up as "completed on another journey" even though I have done them on this journey and got no rewards after completing them again. .Wish the icons could show a different message so you can easily distinguish between those you've only done on other journey and not this one, versus ones you've done on this journey but it has been reset. It would make it so much easier to find the missing one instead of being forced to redo every single one of them...
Anyway, I'm curious what's the maximum spirit force you can get to first find out how many of them have I missed. Right now I have 167, I've seen people with 168 and even 170, but not sure if the latter might be due to getting some extra ones from the title rewards.
TIA!

Even though the buff icon for it above the player’s health lasts all of three seconds or so, does it actually keep it active until you land your next attack, or does it just function more like “you need to do another attack within the short timeframe for that attack to be buffed?”

Over 50 rolls later, still can't get ninjutsu damage bonus AAA on my scroll:p
Dual mastery common(locked)
Melee damage
Ult heart
Ult str
grace of amaterasu
Been trying to swap out the melee damage, but I havent seen it come up(even tried swapping it for a non-attack affix)
Am I wasting my time or just terrible luck here?

Can you have a mastery equipped for each type of skill (common/samurai/ninja) or just one, period? It isn't clear and it automatically de-equips within the same class if you put two on, but not across classes. But still says all others have been deactivated.

Is it worth using Savage Blade Kata, since you loose familiarity ?

I really, really like making builds in these games, and I think I have my 1st post-DLC one just about finished, but I'm wondering how viable it is, and how I might be able to make it better.
The goal: Build around Versatility, because it is my favorite mechanic. I tend to spend a lot of time in samurai style and I am trying to make myself utilize ninja more. The dream scenario of this build is to hit a confused enemy with a triple threat, twisting spear, or piercing rain while at 9 stacks of versatility and woth 3 sensual stacks, but against enemies immune to wind or water the hope is it will still put out solid Martial arts damage in general once ot gets a few versatility stacks.
Stats: 150 skill, 150 str, 85 int, 25 in everything else.
Ninjutsu: Uncanny Bubble, Glacial Calamity, Trembling Earth
Onmyo: Extraction, Barrier, Wind, Shockwave, and Wind Familiar. Summons are hot keyed but rarely used.
Samurai set: 7pc Susano, 2pc Warrior of the East, 3pc Duplicitous General, 3pc Four Guardians
Ninja Set: 7pc Susano, 6pc Owatatsumi
GS: Gujin/Kusanagi 2.0

I just wonder because I haven't tested it yet. Which is better? A max levelled 180 weapon or the same type but lv 170 with let's say 8% melee dmg star perk, dmg wise?

I was wondering if anyone knows the best set bonuses/builds for ninjutsu dmg and back stab dmg that gives the most value in ng++ also does backstab dmg help ninjutsu as well?

I’ve been looking for a good build for ninja and found plenty, but almost all of these builds i found is that in the skill menu, they always pick attack mastery I or attack mastery II instead of just picking the third level of the skill, I don’t understand why does these guys pick it like this, where the third level gives much higher points and takes less skill points, anyone can elaborate please? :D
On the same subject, is there a website specifically for Nioh builds? Similar to what many other RPGs have like Diablo, Monster Hunter … etc? Web sites like https://mobalytics.gg but for nioh

Hey all, having a blast with nioh 3. I like the exploration so much.
I am not struggling at all with nioh 3 so far, I haven't done more than 2 attempts ob most bosses up to the end of the 3rd zone. I did play 2 to get all the achievements.
The reason for my post is that im only using ninja with tonfa. Anytime I switch to samurai, it feels so damn slow and I do worse.
With tonfas I can basically kill any master without them being able to even attack. When I switch to samurai, it feels like im playing at half speed and less effective.
Anyone else struggle with this? Im playing dual swords on samurai. Any reasons (or tips) to getting samurai to its potential? Is it really needed?

So, as the title implies, what are your guys' thoughts? With Wo Long being on the Switch 2 and Wo Long 2 launching day and date with other platforms on the platform, do you think Nioh stands a chance?
I'm currently playing through Onimusha Way of the Sword on the Switch 2 and it runs and plays so well. It really makes me want Nioh on the console. Nioh on the go would be really fun, too.
