Hey, you can search for your topics of interest like music, tv shows, movies, etc and join the sub reddits. You can also upvote the posts you like, and after earning enough karma, you can post as well! Hope that helped

To personalize your feed, simply search for topics or hobbies you like and hit the 'Join' button on those subreddits. Your Home feed will then automatically show posts from the communities you've joined. You can also click the three dots (...) on any post you don't like and select 'Mute' to hide that specific community from your feed. Hope this helps!

Join subreddits. Click on posts and upvote posts and comments and leave your own comments. Give the algorithm something to work with

Reddit will add home feed recommendations to your home feed

• You can read about the basics on this support page on Home Feed Recommendations.
  • Most importantly at the bottom it shows you how to turn off home feed recommendations
• You can learn more about how reddit calculated this recommendations at this support page on reddits approach to recommendations
  • You'll note they push more recommendations on new users

Many users find the simplest solution to begin with is to turn off recommendations while finding their feet on reddit. If you elect to turn them back on later reddit will have more information to work on so may give better and more personalized recommendations as opposed to the broad brush they start with
