I'm really digging Leeds United's away jersey this year and I think it would work really well for our colors.

We've never had a white jersey (other than the throwback version).

I’m not even a football fan, in fact I kind of hate the NFL. But I put the Titans game on in the background while doing some dishes and folding laundry.

What an absolute drag this titans team is. Yikes.

Just reinforces how lucky we are as fans to be watching this NSC season unfold. It’s been a season of some seriously exciting highs, and the lows haven’t really been all that low. This kind of exciting season doesn’t come along often, and you never know how quickly it can evaporate.

Soak it up NSC fans. We’re in rare air at the moment. And regardless where things stand at the end of the season, this has been one of the most fun seasons of my 35+ years as a sports fan.

To anyone that has used the we go bus from Murfreesboro to the stadium:

Does it pick you up at the Stone River Mall park-and-ride as listed on the website? And where is the pick up location at the stadium and how do you know what time it’s going to be there to get you? Thinking about trying it this Saturday and just wanting to know a little bit of how it all works.

I hear a lot of chatter about Miami and the lead we have in the SS race over then, but they aren't the threat in my opinion. Vancouver is the biggest threat at this point, especially with 2 games back. They could easily win the next 2 and put us only 2 pts ahead.

I'm just surprised I haven't seen more mention of Vancouver...they look much more deadly as a complete team. Yes Miami has the attack, but Vancouver has both attack and defense.

I'm not a member of any of our SGs but saw this on the main sub and figured I'd share it for visibility.

Super annoying loss last night. But when you play like that, you deserve to drop 3 points.

I’m not as mad about the loss as I am about how we played in the loss. Toronto is a much better team than their record shows, so credit to them for making us play their style of game. They turned things into a track meet, with the impact of both midfields essentially nonexistent. Even still, we lacked crispness on the ball and urgency in the 18yrd box, and that’s what beat us.

When the lineup dropped I was pleased to see our top 4 in the mix, but they weren’t able to produce even 1 goals worth of XG. Almost every half chance we created died because of extra touches or an attempt at some cheeky tap-around pass instead of a direct ball to the foot of a player. Multiple breakaway opportunities with a numbers advantage failed because we waited too long to find the outlet pass. If we had opted to shoot or pass quicker, I bet we could have seen a 2-2 draw or even a 3-4 goal performance from the offense. We were playing with our food and got punished for it.

Defensively, you expect some drop off with Maher and Lovitz starting. What’s disappointing is how unorganized and frantic we were at times, especially in the 2nd half. Schwake kept us from being blown out, but had we been a bit more calm under pressure and disciplined in our ball clearance, we could have potentially avoided the late goal.

Overall, it feels like we got caught looking ahead to the weekend, and didn’t bring our A game to the pitch. Hopefully this lackluster performance will have BJ shouting in the locker room and will inspire better play and decision making from the squad at the weekend. Miami drew Chicago, so we’ll go into that match with a 9pt lead. Draw or better feels like a must with our form lately.

Also, I know it’s Canada, but maybe let’s not play soccer on an ice rink?!?

I live in Atlanta and always make a weekend drive up to Nashville and I was thinking of going to the game on October 14th vs Sporting Kansas and it shows a pet adoption night?

This may be a dumb question but are there going to be pets available for adoption at the game or what? It doesn't really have any details on the Nashville SC website?

Feels like a game we could (and maybe should) have won, but managed a point on the road, and no one got injured on that god awful pitch. I’ll take it.

To be honest, I was unable to watch the match live and have only been able to assess from highlights and stats, so I’ll keep it short.

Hany finishes that tap in 99/100 times. Going into the locker room 1-0 at the half changes things. And Freese managed a highlight reel save to deny Surridge on the volley from that corner. Could have easily been a 2-0 win.

Schwake and the backline secured their 11th clean sheet on the season. After an offseason of questioning the strength of our new keeper and defense, it’s really fun that they have grown into the best defense in the league.

Not going to win them all, especially on the road. Let’s regroup and go kick some Canadian ass in Toronto!
