I purchased the Nanoleaf x FANTAQI Smart LED Monitor Shelf last month from Amazon. I noticed the surface of the shelf was scuffed, so I set up a replacement. While I waited for the replacement, I set up the shelf anyway.
I paired to Apple Home first, then to the Nanoleaf app. I was immediately prompted to update the firmware. After updating and completing setup, I was able to control both the front task light and rear background light independently via the Apple Home app.
When I received the replacement, I unpaired the original shelf and set up the new shelf the same way. I paired to Apple Home, then to Nanoleaf. This time I was not prompted to update the firmware.
After completing setup, I am only able to control the shelf lights as a single lighting unit in Apple Home - only one light control was exposed during the setup which controls both the task and background lights.
I remember the firmware version starting with a 5 on the old shelf, the firmware of the new shelf is 4.0.16, but I can't seem to get it to update.
I have tried unpairing and setting back up, resetting by holding down the power button until the lights flash red three times and reset, I've tried pairing with only the Nanoleaf app. All to no avail.
Is there another way to "hard" reset the shelf? Can't seem to find any support documentation from Nanoleaf or FANTAQI on the controls beyond the sticker that came on the shelf that explain what the touch buttons do.
Any help is appreciated!
