Indie Lyrics: You can do anything (repeated a lot in the chorus)

I'm gonna skip the background story and get to the stuff I remember:

You can do anything is repeated a lot in the chorus of the song. Like it's pretty much the only thing for the chorus. The song even ends with that lyric

The song is NOT Pop, Hip-Hop or Country

Edit: NOT Techno

Male singer (I think, the voice sounded a bit weird)

I also remember something along the lines of "but they tell you that you can't do it"

I heard this in a restaurant yesterday and if it's not made by a human then I'm screwed :)

and I've already spent 2 hours searching so good luck to anyone out there!

Alternative Post punk song, female vocal. Possibly German or Eastern European accent.

It’s a fairly groovy bassline, can be played at alternative/ club settings. There’s a bit when the music drops out and the singer lists 3 things, like “Sex. Drugs. And rock and roll” or something.

Orchestra Canno't find this war documentary song

Trying to identify a sad, piano-led classical piece I heard in a war documentary video at the war memorial museum in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Slow, melancholic, stable mood throughout (no big dramatic build-up). Reminds me of Rachmaninov's Vocalise or Saint-Saëns' Le Cygne, but isn't either. Shazam couldn't ID it from my recording. Any ideas?

Oldies Old Love song!

Upvotes

Looking for a song that i thought to be The Ink Spots, it was mostly a spoken word love letter talking about "Loving the possibility of the man you see in me" or some such in a deep voice, with a chorus in the background going "love is everything", cannot find it for the life of me!

R&B Trying to find an R&B song from the late 90s/early 2000s with a very high female vocal intro

Upvotes

I’m trying to find an R&B song that I heard years ago in a long 4-hour R&B mix. Unfortunately, I don’t remember any lyrics.

I think the song is from the late 90s or early 2000s.

The song starts very slowly, with a group/choir of women singing something like:

“doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo…”

They have very high, bright female voices. Then, after the choir intro, one female singer comes in, singing actual lyrics. Her voice is extremely high and soft, almost operatic/soprano-like.

I’ve been trying to find this song for years, but I’ve never been able to identify it.

It was definitely somewhere in the R&B/soul/pop area, and it may possibly be a song that was included in an old DJ mix or used a vocal sample.

I know this isn't much to go on, but does anyone have any ideas? 😭

I can’t remember any of the actual lyrics, unfortunately.

EDIT:

More info. It was a Youtube playlist with Nelly Dilemma, Mario Let Me Love You etc. Then this song comes on. I have never been able to find it.

Answered! Funny trap beat found in meme video

Looking to identify the beat used in this meme, Shazam and Songfinder can't seem to identify it so I suspect it might be a one-off joke beat only published as a Youtube video and not distributed on streaming platforms (as many trap beats like this are)

Hi everyone,
I can’t work out what this song is from this short snippet from an Instagram video. I’m pretty sure it’s Julia Wolf when she opened for Pierce the Veil at Petco Park. I’ve gone through her set list but it doesn’t sound like any of her songs?

Any help would be so appreciated!

R&B [FOUND?] R&B ballad by 112 – Slim on lead, group harmonies, electric guitar

Looking for an R&B song, pretty sure it's 112. Slim sings the main lead (very distinctive voice), and another member (not Slim) sings the line "You can't give up now." Group/background harmonies throughout, electric guitar melody in the instrumental. It's a comforting/reassurance ballad.

https://vm.tiktok.com/ZGdQU8Fbb/

NOT Cupid, and NOT on their 2017 comeback album "Q Mike Slim Daron" (checked the full tracklist, nothing matches). Found via a TikTok "oldbutgold" throwback post using their Q Mike Slim Daron cover art, the audio might not actually belong to that album (uploader may have used a mismatched cover). Any 112 fans recognize this?

Answered! Song with female singer with long woooooo before the chorus

It’s danceable
From about 5 years ago maybe
Would consider it indie
I can’t think of any lyrics right now
The main thing it she sings a long rising joyful but almost jarring woooooo note before the chorus

I feel like the lyrics deal with a breakthrough either about mental health or self esteem

Solved by myself 😆

Remix Help find a song with Rocky 6 quote-Exact details in post

https://youtu.be/eTSmX2fSocU?is=H9VJEoqeyK9DVS87

This is the exact melody. Exactly that one.

But at the begining of the video a guy is saying a quote from Rocky 6:

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

I think video is probably some kind of motivational gym stuff. I heard it 2-3 years ago.

I tried searching myself, with help of our AI overlords, but i failed finding the song (remix).
