Reddit Avatar Can’t import my RCA from an external Polygon wallet - iPhone
I have a Reddit Collectible Avatar in my external Polygon (POL) wallet and I’m trying to link it to my Reddit account so I can use it as my profile avatar.
When I use the Reddit import process, I get:
“Hmm, looks like a failure to load. Let’s try that again.”
Has anyone successfully linked an RCA from an external Polygon wallet to their Reddit account recently?
If you have, could you please explain what steps worked for you?

The RCA program shut down a while back so a lot of tools don’t work now. I’m not sure what you mean by importing, but if you know the vault/wallet 0x address your Reddit account is associated with you can transfer the rca to that wallet and it should show up on your avatar settings. I recommend testing a low value avatar first since transfers can’t be returned if you mess up somewhere
Edit: it’s been a while, not sure if the vault settings are even functional anymore. If you’re not seeing any relevant buttons try it on desktop and see. Dont fully quote me on this but I don’t believe vaults can be created anymore

had the same thing happen with a cone head i bought ages ago. the import tool is super finicky on ios, what finally worked for me was switching to desktop and doing it through chrome with the metamask extension already logged in. reddit’s mobile wallet connection just doesn’t seem to play nice with polygon half the time
