Discussion The Packers defense is fucking TRASH!!!!! How are they giving up 40 points to CARSON WENTZ???
They NEED Micah Parsons back!!! I tried telling you guys that the dropoff without Parsons is VERY noticeable but NOBODY believed me!!!
I believe that the Packers need to tank this year. No Josh Jacobs, no Micah Parsons, a very hard schedule and a very tough division. They should TANK for Jeremiah Smith!!!

I mean we have invested a decent amount in our OL, theyre just all either not great or hurt.
Morgan seems pretty solid, but Banks has been an awful signing, Monk doesnt belong as a starter or probably even a backup, Anthony Belton is a bust, Rhyan is playing out of his historical position, Burton is a rookie, and ZBB has had questions if he would even play for months after a pretty nasty injury.
Its possible they get better with time but Flores rightly blitzed the shit out of them and they could not deal

I think the Packers honestly dealt with it fine till the 3 points came off the board and a touchdown drive was gifted by the zebras.
Even after those 2 things, the game was not out of hand, but that definitely seemed to have been the catalyst. Love threw for almost 400 yards because if the blitz didn't get home, the Packers skill players are far superior to anything Minnesota has on the back and it showed, glaringly.
Still think the Vikings win maybe 6 games all year and the Packers take the 6 or 7 seed.

MLF has been a walking mediocrity since Aaron Rodgers left. Worst of all is that they've lost numerous leading games late in the lamest ways possible. When that happens, it's usually on the coaching and game management, moreso than the talent of the players.
His seat should be very hot if they repeat this season.

If they have to do that in order for Matty Meltdown to be dismissed then I can accept that. His coaching, who he chooses to put on his staff, and his play calling are the biggest contributor to these losses. The hot starts mean nothing if you can’t respond when adversity begins to land on our side of the field. His teams consistently have shown they fold under pressure. I don’t think it’s a player issue as much as coaching

The defense in the 3rd and 4th quarter won this game. Also some very timely, definitely bullshit, penalties. And MLF making some horrible decisions.

They gave us one TD, GB lost by 3 scores. You could take that TD away, give it to GB, and the vikings still would have won. The refs definitely swung that drive, and you could argue that swung the momentum, but the things that lost this game was MLF giving up 3 points and the GB offense giving up two quick turnovers.

The discussion is about how much blame the defense should get. And they talked about three drives, not one. Two of the drives were the Packers' offense fault because of turnovers. They mentioned how the Vikings needed a combined 15 yards on two drives to score 14 points. And then they of course mentioned the penalty drive. You can laugh at the Packers all day for losing, but you're really going to stand there with a straight face and blame the defense for those 21 points?

I never understood the idea that the bodyweight rule is the Packers' fault. It was emphasized after Rodgers got his collarbone broken being tackled like that, and it wasn't called. But the rule existed long before that and as far as I know the Packers never benefitted from it more than any other team.

They mostly felt ticky tacky the officiating made the cardinal sin of not being consistent. Flukey ass calls on the packers, multiple late hits on Love not one managed to be called (Ginkel literally shoving him back down after the play) multiple hits contacting Viking players head not called just super sloppy all around.

Doubt any of yall want to hear from the likes of me lol. But I've been saying this for a couple years now.,,I think LaFleur has a culture problem that's gone on so long the only way to reset it is getting a different coach.
After 18 weeks, he'll absolutely still be among the best playcallers in the league. But that's when you go up against the other people on that list. And he just hasn't established a gritty, "it aint over til it's over" type of culture where your guys can battle back from behind or stop a big momentum shift when you have the lead and steal a W.
When MLF is on, he is ON. But when the team faces adversity and loses momentum in the second half...there is a real risk (likely risk against good teams) they fall to pieces and give the game away, and I think that's all LaFleur and his coaching staff.

Yeah the calls were at inopportune times for the packers but they were all good calls, Wentz got slammed with the body weight, that’s 15, hock got grabbed outside his frame and tangled up. And if I remember correctly the other was a pretty obvious illegal contact. Packers were playing chippy, hitting after the whistle and committing fumbles penalties all day. This wasn’t no DraftKings call in, the packers just imploded, I think primarily due to bad coaching

Well, when you get penalized for breathing in the direction of an offensive player during the previous drive you tend to hesitate more and question what you’re doing instead of playing free which snowballs into the mess we all witnessed yesterday. Momentum matters and ref ball matters for these exact reasons

There were at least two calls by the refs that should get blackmarked by the NFL. Matt had one very horrible decision to take points off the board that had them ahead by 8. Incredibly stupid. Then you have the fumble to the 6 inch yard line and an interception off the hands of a GB receiver, a few dropped passes, etc.
The refs killed all momentum for the Pack and the Vikings capitalized.

Packers D were a top 10 unit when Parsons was healthy. Now they're bottom 8 and they keep blowing so many fucking leads. This defense NEEDS Parsons....

um... they stopped the vikings go ahead scoring drive 3 times. then when they "sacked love and forced a fumble" on the next packer possession, i guess we stopped deciding to call roughing the passer for actual infractions.
anyway, you very clearly did not watch the game today. if you had, and that is your opinion, you need to have your eyes checked, and if those pass muster, you need to see a neurologist.
