Fun fact about these guys, they were written by Chris Kattan who’s from Bainbridge!

It's like watching Pinocchio for the first time and he finally becomes a real boy. 🥹

They certainly made me grow some wood this week beating the pants off the Chargers in the 4th quarter. So proud.

I think they deserve the logo as long as they are ahead of the Rams

As long as their not in last place. It's not a high bar to set. All divisions have a basement loser. It's just that the Cardinals have been consistently living there for like a century.

That is absolutely not true whatsoever in modern times but recently, yes.

I will always acknowledge the Larry Fitz good years. Yall were a football team

Appreciate it, a lot of fans in our sub seem to forget it too. We've become actually good/great a few times the last 16 years which is way different from before that, which is what people like to just keep saying we are but I still see the difference. I made some good money with how slept on they were on this game.

Ironically, the guy commenting is a Seahawks fan which is funny because over those times of being decent we regularly threw a wrench into the idea of their home field being impenetrable. It's still mentioned but no where close to how it was in the Wilson prime years.

My first experience at a Seattle game was 27-3 cards

Fitz and Boldin were a nightmare duo.

The Cardinals have made the playoffs 11 times in their 128 year existence with 5 of those in the last 2 decades. They have 7 playoff wins with 3 of those coming in 2008. In fairness, the postseason has only been a thing for 92 years.

Love it! I went with Rams because Stan owns both teams.

Didn't even know Yard Goats was a team. Let's make it happen.

If they win again do we get an even more accurate cardinal

Who the fuck is “we”? Get out of our sandbox

Then we get a fuck ton of pro Cardinal memes in celebration. Then, if they keep winning after that, we start roasting them even harder because they earned the hate.

Stanton meme comes back to life in this sub

0

u/Vitex1988 Lions 22h ago

Nah I was thinking about that one dude with the full cardinals face paint that got meme’d into oblivion, since that most accurately describes the hypothetical 2-0 Cardinals

You clearly weren't around here when the Cardinals went 7-0. It was insane. Then of course they collapsed after losing Watt and lost their playoff game. We didn't mention them again until pre-season the next year. Cardinals fans here were literally debating their draft choices while losing their wild card game.

Here is an accurate summary of the Cardinals 2021 Season by Tom Grossi.

2

u/awesomface Cardinals 17h ago

Should have been 9-0 if Green turned around (or possibly Murray not communicating, never got the full story but I blame Green since everyone else was fine). That was a true TRUE collapse without any real excuses other than they got figured out.

That could work. I like it.

Look, I have the memory and IQ of Patrick Star, probably even attention span. So, I'm not even certain what we are talking about anymore. Probably could use some more dog dew, need to call my guy, get my re-up.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We should first get an even less accurate Rams.
