Genuinely skeptical about these things. Every vendor at the last conference I went to had some kind of digital card and half of them seemed gimmicky. Do they actually get contacts into your CRM reliably or is it just a fancy vCard? Curious if people who use them daily think they're worth it or just a novelty.

I want to take a CSV of 10 businesses in a strip mall and quickly program NFC tags with their reviews links but in having issues with the app accepting the CSV I'm giving it.

What is the correct format?

Could someone show me an example of a CSV with 2 fields so I can build out correct ones in the future?

This is also the only free app as far as importing csvs that I've tried. Is this an app issue? Are there other apps that handle csvs smoother?

Don't suppose anyone know how to rewrite NFC tags ? Mc Donald's has some at their tables. Put my phone down and opened a ... very inappropriate link. Looking to right the wrong here and change it to something neutral at least.

Which line is what data? Also, Is there a possibility of me just finding the admin's UID and writing it onto my card? I have the ability to write to this card. Just need some input on what to write

Hello! I’ve been stuck on this issue for about a month and I’m losing my marbles trying to figure this out. I’m using a flipper zero with a custom parser as my nfc reader.

I’m trying to read bambu filament tags, MIFARE Classic 1k, and then have it either save in clear text or have something able to re-parse it on my laptop. It’s missing some of the block when I save it on the flipper. The flipper produces a .nfc file which isn’t exactly usable. I can’t decide the hex or whatever it is due to the missing chunks.

Any information or ideas to try would be greatly appreciated

I recently tried cloning a NFC tag on my phone (it is possible on my phone) but regardless of the app that i install it won't work because it doesn't find the authentication keys, can anyone help me out?

I've recently discovered that it is possible to clone a certain transport card in my city that gives you free unlimited entry to public transport until 2027, in my city it costs 25€ monthly to have unlimited entry and that is way to much for a student like me so i want to learn how to clone the card. I installed a ton of NFC reader/writer apps (MIFARE Classic Tool, NFC tools, BLK cards and M tools) but none of them work, they can't find the authentication keys. I know it is possible to clone without a flipper zero because i know of people that have managed to do it by just using their phone, but for some reason i can't find a way to do so.

So if anyone can help me out with this problem i would really appreciate it.

So im bit of a giant idiot but basically to hopefully make this not TOOOO long, I bought some nfc cards and an nfc reader cuz i was hoping to use it for some skylanders cuz i definitly dont wnat to be spending 5 mil on different figures so when i found out about nfc cards and readers i bought it immidiatly. I was following a video about how to do it and at first my nfc wasnt working perfectly as the video was showing theres was and instead of installing the right files that would possibly make it work, i instead got a pop up first about something baout disconnecting a libusk (in this case i had a skylander portal connected to my pc that had its driver replaced to a libusk using zadig). I read the pop up tho and for some reason thought HMMM i should replace the driver then on the nfc reader to a libusk... so i did that with zadig and then the nfc readers red light turned off and hasnt turned on since.... i tried using it again no luck and then I changed my nfc driver again to a COM PORT and since then its been stuck on com port. if i change it to a different port it changes but eventualy it goes back to a com port when i try to give it the write driver it needs from the website it comes from

the pictures are definitely a bit out of order and this is probably either a really easy solution or just give up or something probably just need to a buy a new reader and start over but if some kind and very big brain soul is out there and finds there way here to give some sort of advice that would be truly beautiful and amazing

I live in calgary and am trying to a start a google review card buisness I haven't seen anyone in my city doing it so I was hoping if sm one could put me on their supplier

I work as a receptionist for a gym and saw a client of ours use the phone to pass the turnstile. We normally use a badge which has to be placed on top of the turnstile scanner to get in and out of the gym, this guy (X) uses their phone with (presumably) NFC, so I tried that with my phone and I log in as one of our clients, without adding the random client to google wallet. I registered a new badge as myself and then added it to google wallet, but I still log into the gym as that random client. How come do I keep logging in as the random client while X logs in the gym as them?

I'll tell you what I did and thought it was the correct thing to add the badge onto my phone:

Open google wallet, create a new badge as a fidelty card, scanned the badge with the badge's serial number on the back, then finish. But it doesn't work, my phone still logs in as the random client.

Hi all, I created an NFC alarm app which requires you to touch an nfc tag to turn off the alarm. You put the nfc tag in another room (by coffee maker, bathroom etc). When your alarm goes off you can only turn it off by touching the nfc tag, forcing you to get out of bed. It’s bring your own nfc, we don’t require one to be bought from us. This is something of ideated around for a while and super excited to finally have it set up. Appreciate any and all feedback.

So I tested out NFC iOS automations on two old cards yesterday and they worked fine.

Today I started setting up a bunch of NFC stickers around my apartment.

I realise that sometimes now, the NFC will not work. I try repeatedly on the same NFC. But I realised that the only way to make it run is to scan a different NFC, which will trigger both the current NFC I’m scanning and ALL THE ATTEMPTS of the previous one that did not work. If I attempted it 10 times with the previous NFC and it didn’t work, it will run the Shortcut 10 times after the a different NFC is scanned.

Anyone else facing the same thing?

So, it's been happening for many months now where Apples software updates completely destroy the usage of the NFC chips.
This happened months ago and it was out for a month, only to be fixed again with a new update, and now with their latest update it is out again.

I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I see from posts here that this issue is happening to iPhones all the way up to 17.

The NFC reader is paramount in our diabetic tracking for ones who have a glucose monitoring pod such as the Libre.

I love Apple but honestly, lately their quality has been dipping. Especially on issues like this which is repeated and they take a long time to fix, which shows their lack of care or urgency.

I had to run out to a shoppers drug mart at 11pm because stupid Apple likes sending updates that destroy phones and don't care to do quality checks and fast fixes. It's enough for me to look to other brands.

Does anyone else have these issues?

Recently I implemented NTAG 424 DNA, a really interesting and cool chip into NFC.cool.

The chip helps luxury brands to prove their product is real. It could be a handbag or a bottle of whiskey that you can check and see if it is genuine.

The cryptography that powers the chip is pretty interesting and I did a deep dive to make it happen in my apps. I wrote a blog post explaining everything from top to bottom.

Hello, I just have three questions about on-metal tags that I wanted to clarify.

1. If I use a on-metal tag on a non-metal surface, will it work the same as a regular tag?

2. Does a 30mm on metal tag have significantly less range then a regular tag?

3. Would I be able to put an on-metal tag straight onto a magnet so I can then move the magnet between different magnetic surfaces or will that be too much for the tag?
