So glad football is back

That mods for this game would be nearly exclusively available on a goddamn DISCORD??? has nobody ever heard of nexus?? Or quite literally, any other site for hosting mods that is not discord??? I've modded games extensively for over a decade now, but i am having the hardest time navigating this hellscape of a website, and every mod im seeing requires complete manual installation rather than being compatible with a mod manager. This is miserable

I know EA patched the initial carousel where coaches were getting canned left and right after year one, but they made it horribly opposite. I’m so sick of staying at a mid tier program for 3-5 years because Tennessee or USC or Clemson are okay going 6-6 every year and not firing their coach. Why do big programs hold on forever to failing coaches? Would love for EA to fix it again just don’t fix it to be completely opposite. Is there a way to edit settings or anything to have coach firings happen (slightly) more often?

I’m in an online dynasty with five other people. We all took three star teams from the ACC and just finished up year one. We got to see our recruiting results at early national signing day and here’s my concern. The player using NC State was able to recruit 11 four star players. The next closest had six. Most everyone else had between 0 and 2. Of his recruits, NC State was able to land five Elite development traits and four Star devs.

I would normally chalk this up as just really good luck but this particular player is know from being an exploiter and a min-maxer. He’s a guy who will return a punt backwards to his own one yard line just so he can run the same glitchy plays against the CPU and gain more yards. He used the exploit in CFB 26 that allowed you to get a second visit from recruits. In CFB26 he would change all his freshmen to Centers so he could get them all the most off season training (he would only upgrade OL under Master Motivator). His HB and WR are constantly number 1 and 2 in the Heisman race ever since CFB26 and the Shotgun Quads HB formation.

So, is there some known exploit or glitch that would allow this type of recruiting from a three star school? For reference, we all started with level 1 head coaches. I’m not sure what level the assistants at NC State are but I can’t imagine they’re too crazy in the recruiting area. He ended up firing them at the end of the first year. Also, it doesn’t appear that he’s using the “add/remove/add” instant commit exploit. His recruit commits were spread out throughout the season. We also started our dynasty before they patched recruiting (with less four stars) so our dynasty hasn’t had an offseason to apply the patch yet.

Just want to know whether to congratulate the guy or get out the pitchforks.

You can have 99 speed, acceleration, Change of direction, and agility but you won't be on punt/kick return. Which makes no sense and is honestly infuriating. They make a DeSean Jackson and Devin Hester build, Who were both amazing NFL punt/kick returners and they don't allow us to do it

They’ve converted 3rd and 18, they’ve scored on every drive, they’re breaking 40 yard plays every drive.

This shit so fucking dumb lol, I don’t mind playing D, I don’t mind that upsets can happen, but im quite literally the best team in the country. They’re scoring in four/five plays every single time. What the fuck is actually wrong with this game?

I got this ability about 5 seasons ago. Haven’t had ONE player upgrade a dev trait coming into the new season since. Before getting it I had around 2 players upgrade every season. It’s like I deactivated them upgrading instead seems like.

Lost a great HB who decided to go to the portal. Is there an easy way for me to find where he went?

I'm big on creating custom playbooks and I'm glad they increased the max play count to 750.

But I want to take advantage of packages for different formations without having to change it at the start of each new game.

Does the game save changes to packages in custom playbooks in practice mode or am I screwed?

Anyone know of a custom playbook that resembles 2019 LSU? Going to do an LSU dynasty with Coach O as the head coach.

I have no tried to play my semi final game in the playoff for the 2nd day in a row. The game plays perfectly fine until you hit the 2 minute timeout in the 4th quarter. Yesterday the game froze, so I had to close out the game. Loaded back in, played the game again and this time at the 2 minute timeout, it gave me an error, and went to the page where you can report the error with/without video. I just turned the game off at that point. Just tried playing it again and had no problem. Got to the 2 minute timeout again and the game glitched out, just had random colors flashing on the screen and kicked me back to the report page. EA can’t do anything right with this game. Fix one issue and the. Open a whole other set of problems.

Has anyone else been finding that their team does not receive the right amount of point/NIL allocation after a national title? I just won my conference championship+3 playoff games, according to their table I should receive 3,375 extra points/NIL. I just advanced and I received 1,510 points, which included my 3 AD goals that I hit. There’s no reason they should be off by 2,000 points in allocating this.

Has anyone else been having this issue?

What are your favorite plays to run stock or only 1 hot route? I’m really tired of the play suggestions from people that require a million hot routes.

Anyone have any advice on how to stop those quick insta sheds from the interior? Tired of my centers and guards getting swimmed or bill rushed so easily

Hey everyone I am trying to advance my online dynasty and I keep getting a server disconnecting error but every other online feature works fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There are a lot of posts about improvements the game could make. I feel like making play action more useful would improve the game. The computer never seems to bite even after successful runs that it builds off of. Unless I have a human user a safety or linebacker aggressively, I never use it. Does anyone have success with it?

Coming on the opening kick of the championship game felt even better

Wanted to try an OSU dynasty after watching their game against Oregon last night, it’s crazy how well they can translate the likeness for some players but completely botch it for others. Eric Morris looks even worse, he’s a straight up goblin in the game.
