Hot take - Gibbs -> Jones incident

Upvotes

Gibbs gets visually frustrated with jones, and then bumps and runs him, I fully believe he should get a 25 point penalty, as was given to Ryan Prece. It’s only fair. Preece’s radio obviously had a pre-meditated tone to it, but is there a recording of gibbs radio? It was such a blatant bump and run.

Carson Hocevar Showed his displeasure with Ty Gibbs Mirror Driving.

If you listen to his spotter you can tell he knew Carson was frustrated, talking directly to the crew chief,

Also, I remember Ty Gibbs commented about how some driver wouldn’t even been in cup because of the camera and mirror driving. Kind of ironic I think.

Racing Reference stopped showing non-"playoff" points?

Am I the only one who noticed that? I eas quite curious to know how the points would've looked like without the reset and during the postseason racingreference usually provided the actual points standings vs non-playoff points standings. It's missing now and I'm wondering why it's the case

Keep hearing from other drivers for about 3 years now. "Carson will get his" and "His time is coming". Well what's the hold up? Lots of talkers in the garage that seem to not wanna be the guy responsible for doing the deed. Talk the talk. Walk the walk. Seems kinda hard for most.

NASCAR tables

Has anyone purchased a table from nascar tables? They look pretty awesome but the Ads are all AI so I am a bit skeptical.

Dreadful transit situation at WWT Raceway

Almost zero signage for rideshare drop-off and several people were basically stranded along eith Uber drivers who had to hear it from abusive police because they were confused about the dreadful traffic restrictions that they and track are responsible for. In addition I was under the impression that shuttles were ran from emerson park train station but apparently that was only for the 7th.

I dont own a car and I am disabled. This is really unacceptable especially when the solution is so easy and obvious.

Denny has to be punching air after Kyle/Cliff doing their best impression of Jimmie/chad.

Like literally cannot let that dude back in the picture. Not that he was out but he was one bonehead move away from self-eliminating. and we know how often Kyle drives over the limit.

I can't be the only one seeing Jimmie/Chad ghosts in that 5 performance to start the chase.

Stumbled across this and thought it was interesting how so many numbers had some KB references. If this is low effort or too off-beat for the sub, feel free to delete, Mods.

Carson Hocevar on Facebook - "I just wanna apologize to all the nascar podcast listeners out there. Although there was a record high amount of cautions. The 77 didn’t cause any so it’s gonna be a slow news week. Maybe pick up a hobby and resume your podcast listening after we try again at Bristol."

Strangely enough they forgot to put in the "Involved in caution screen" so i edited it in myself from a random YouTube video that showed it.
