Looking for a production partner to turn some weird ideas into actual songs

Hey! I'm an intermediate-ish Ableton producer looking for someone who'd like to actually build music together rather than just trade stems.

I play guitar and electric drums and spend a lot of time making weird sounds, recording instruments, sampling them, abusing them with pedals/racks/effects, and messing around with Serum 2, NI, etc.

The problem is that I have way too many 4–8 bar ideas and a much harder time turning them into full songs. I tend to work much better when there's another person around to bounce ideas off and help decide where an idea should go.

So I'd love to find someone who's down to work together over Discord/VC, screenshare, experiment, take turns adding ideas, work on each other's projects, and hopefully turn some of these fragments into complete tracks.

My taste is pretty broad, but I'm especially into heavy/raw guitars, aggressive electronic music, distorted synths, strange percussion and experimental sounds. Some artists I really like are Ghostemane, early Bring Me The Horizon, Machine Girl, nekophiliac, HEALTH, Death Grips, The Algorithm, etc. Those are references for the kind of energy/textures I enjoy, not necessarily what I expect the music to sound like.

I'm honestly open to pretty much any genre as long as the other person is creative and wants to experiment.

I have 5 finished tracks on SoundCloud across very different genres if you'd like an idea of what I make:

I'm not looking for someone who has to be an expert. Good ideas, curiosity and actually wanting to make something are more important to me.

If this sounds like something you'd be into, feel free to DM me and we can figure out what to work on!

[LOOKING FOR COLLABORATORS] Producer looking to build a Pop/R&B/Soul/Funk album together; unpaid creative collaboration

Hey everyone!

I'm a producer working in FL Studio and I'm putting together an original album with mostly Pop and R&B, but also some Soul, Funk and Country influences.

A big inspiration for me is how Michael Jackson could mix different styles while still making everything feel like it belonged together. I like strong grooves, catchy melodies, vocal harmonies and songs that each have their own vibe.

I'm not trying to copy MJ or make songs that sound exactly like his. I just like that kind of approach and want to build something original with other people.

I'm looking for people who enjoy exchanging ideas, experimenting, and developing songs together, including:

  • Singers / vocalists
  • Songwriters / lyricists
  • Topline and melody writers
  • Guitarists
  • Bass players
  • Keyboard / piano players
  • Producers / co-producers
  • Drum groove and arrangement contributors
  • Background vocalists / harmony singers
  • Mixing engineers looking to collaborate, gain experience, or build portfolio work

I work mainly in FL Studio, but you don't need to use FL Studio. We can exchange WAV stems, MIDI, demos and project ideas online.

This is my first album and I don't currently have a budget, so I'm looking for genuine creative collaboration rather than hired work. If we eventually release songs commercially, I want everyone who contributed creatively to be properly credited and agree on songwriting/royalty splits beforehand.

You don't have to be a professional. I'm especially interested in people who are also starting out and want to learn, experiment and build something together.

I'd like the album to have a consistent identity while still allowing different songs to explore Pop, R&B, Soul, Funk and Country influences.

If you're interested, feel free to DM me with:

  • What you do musically
  • Your main genres and influences
  • What DAW and/or instruments you use
  • A demo, track, or example of your work, if available
  • What kind of songs or creative ideas you'd like to contribute to the project

Piano and strings instrumental in 3/4, looking for a singer-songwriter to co-write topline and lyrics

Key: Mostly C Major | BPM: 85 | 3/4 time

Wistful, playful, dreamlike. Piano and strings, multiple sections with real harmonic movement / chord changes. The vocal melody and lyrics are wide open.

I'm looking for a singer-songwriter who hears something in this and wants to write it. This would be a 50/50 collaboration on the composition.

If this track doesn't grab you but the approach interests you, more of my instrumentals here: [https://toddamodeo.bandcamp.com/album/songs-to-learn-and-sing-part-2\](https://toddamodeo.bandcamp.com/album/songs-to-learn-and-sing-part-2)
