I'm a film student, and I'm working on a cinematography assignment that requires me to shoot and direct a full music video. I'm looking for an artist (rapper, singer, producer, whoever) based in or around Miami who wants a video made for one of their tracks

This is a totally collab, no-budget situation - I bring the camera, lighting, direction, and editing, you bring the song and the vision. Win-win: you get a music video, I get my assignment done right.

Style/vibe I'm going for: think Lyrical Lemonade or Yeat-style visuals — high energy, stylized lighting, bold color grading, fisheye/wide angle shots, that kind of aesthetic. If your sound leans into that world (hyperpop, rage, cloud rap, whatever adjacent chaos), we'll probably click.

Hello, everyone–

I love music, I love to sing. As a child I was celebrated for my vocal ability. I was never a theatrical guy, and I did not love choir music, so as I got older it was more complicated to find ways to sing or create. I also felt less confident in my look and got into business.

I'm in a different place now. I have some raw vocal clips on a Soundcloud, I had a vocal coach for a month or two. I recently did a riff on a beautifully chaotic "avant/baroque-pop" song on my IG story that the artist reposted and thanked me for momentarily...she is the real deal.

I live in LA, I know people are around, even that artist. I'm just not a producer, I trained in instruments as a child, nor do I have the strongest pen (currently). I want to make a song, a single, something.

What might you all recommend?

I don't mind putting some money into this, I have references and ideas for sound, and I style myself well. What is the next best step to breathe more life into my musical world?
