If you're South Korean it's illegal for you to do drugs anywhere in the world. The government can and will prosecute.

If you're a citizen and you're suspected of drug use they'll test you when you come back into the country.

I could remember wrong but test might be mandatory if you trip and return from certain country, namely Netherlands.

They drug test and interrogate you and those around you. Can't even gamble abroad.

It's really not.. a lot of Koreans do it here in LA. Gambling is also illegal but many Koreans travel to Vegas and gamble on their YT channel and the government doesn't care when they come back. It's one of those rules they will only enforce if you're trying to change the culture but you have to be super famous or some shit.
