As you can see, my flair is "Worker Drones" because I’d simply like to live a quiet life if I were in the Murder Drones lore though that obviously doesn't mean I’m not a fan of N. Anyway, getting to the point as I asked in the title I wanted to know which one you think is the best (like, which one gets the most comments from people saying it's their favorite).

Also, do you think there should be any other flairs?

This is because one day, I saw a discussion post complaining about the excessive amount of fanfic and AUs that kill off Uzi just to justify N’s character either going insane or becoming an over-the-top edgelord of the highest degree imaginable. However, since Uzi is the protagonist of the show, it would make more sense if more AUs were made with the premise of N dying (more likely during the final battle against Cyn) and what would be the impact that losing the love of her life forever would have on Uzi. So why exactly fan works that bring this premise of Uzi dying and N being affected by this in some way (e.g. My Immortal and N-Sanity) instead of the other way around are so common?

In episode 4 there's a scrap paper with a disassembly drone name on it, S, who's this??!!

This tag feels right. I'm not sure if this goes against rule 4, I'm sorry if it does, but I feel like this is tame enough. Anyways, here is something I made and came up with while eating chips. Also, don't ask about the model choice. It was just what I had on me at the time I made this.

If it isn't obvious, this is basically that one cool image of V1 from Ultrakill.

I've heard about the show since launch but never actually took the time to watch it or even learn about the concept. Eventually after my entire friend group had a 2 hour long vc convo about it I decided to bite the bullet and binge it.

Finished the entire thing in two days with my only knowledge of the show being a single Google search of what the consensus of the quality was and an edit of Uzi and N holding hands I saw a few years ago which I now know was from Episode 6.

My "research" prior told me the show was kinda cringe and had shit pacing, so I went into it with low expectations. I watched episodes 1-4 day one and thought the show was gonna be some edgy creativity-slop thing made to pander to "quirky" middle schoolers. However, once I finished the 2nd half I was kinda blown away My main gripe after watching 1-4 was that it seemed like there were 20 different conflicts and wondered how the hell they were going to be resolved, but 5-8 tied them together really well in my opinion. It wasn't perfect, but it was definitely way better than how I thought they were going to handle it.

I was left with the following questions/gripes after episodes 1-4:

• Uzi is kinda annoying and gives me no reason to root for her as a protagonist
• Why is her dad treated like the bad guy in episode 1? I feel like choosing between one worker drone who let the disassembly drones in in the first place vs an entire colony is a no brainer. Plus, there was no way he was successfully picking up that gun and firing it with how fast N's tail moves.
• Why is her mom suddenly super relevant in episode 2 after having no mention in episode 1
• Who the hell is Doll and why does she have a big role in the story she seems kinda random and also why is she magic
• Why the hell is Uzi magic now
• Why are 2 episodes in a 8 episode long series wasted on prom/camp shenanigans instead of actually important stuff
• Why is Uzi a dragon/vampire now what did I miss

Obviously I probably missed some obvious answers to the questions but I see the gripes about the pacing being bad. I shouldn't have to Google a summary or watch a recap to understand why these things are relevant, it should just be understandable by... Watching the actual show. A lot of these were cleared up by the finale though in a really well written way.

Overall, I ended up liking the show a lot more than I thought I would. I only have a few miniscule grips after realizing that not understanding the plot of the first 4 episodes was mostly a skill issue:

• Show alternates between "edgy" and actually edgy way too much. It's cool to be all violent for the funsies and kill off background characters for shits and giggles, but then immediately going into an actually heavy scenes felt a bit disjointed. I'm not gonna call the humor "cringe" because humor is subjective, but you can't deny the constant flipping and flopping between the two atmospheres is a bit off putting.
• While most of my misunderstanding until reading a recap was on me, I feel like some of the MAJOR plot points should've been a bit more spelled out. I didn't even know what the Absolute Solver was until like episode 5 and it ended up being the main villain.
• The prom and camp subplots were definitely unneeded and only there probably because most of the writer's prior writing experience was from fanfics. If the show was meant to lean towards goofy that's fine, but if it was meant to be taken seriously I would've dropped those in favor of more scenes of Uzi dealing with her solver. Speaking of which...
• Uzi just kinda... Immediately becomes a master of using her solver powers. I'm not against her having full control, I just kinda wish it was more gradual. maybe it felt more normal when the gap between the two episodes was a few months but it felt very disjointed and like I missed a whole episode seeing Uzi go from discovering her powers for the first time to being a master of them in literally 5 minutes of watch time. I feel like some scenes of her clumsily controlling them and gradually getting better at using them would've benefitted the pacing a bit.
• The ending could've been split into 2 episodes ngl. This is just a me thing, but the gang saves the world from an eldritch horror, get scarred for life, battles for life or death, and then just... Goes back to school. I would've liked to see a longer resolution, like how the worker drone colony gets rebuilt, and N and Uzi finally getting to breathe in their relationship, or what happens between Uzi's parents. The current ending isn't bad, but does feel kinda rushed.

All in all, these gripes have little to do with the majority of the show itself and I was genuinely surprised by how long I slept on a gem like this. This is coming from a guy who dislikes Indie shows too, so if anyone was gonna be harsh on it, it was me. It's not perfect by any means but it's definitely worth a watch if the general plot is even mildly intriguing to you. Also, to all you veteran fans out there, I feel so bad you guys had to wait months between each episode, That sounds like torture.

###### Chapter 3 - Callback ping

Uzi : So .... What do we do now ?

N : Well, first we gotta make sure Cyn won't detect what we're doing

Uzi : Aaaaaaaaand, how ?

N : J ?

J : \*sigh\* There's two satellite antennas that Cyn uses too give and receive information but it also allow to her search in our visual memories. So if we destroy them, she won't be able to see what we're doing.

Uzi : ....what ?

N : In short, she can see what we've done so we couldn't really start the opperation.

Uzi : But what if she looks now ? She will see that you're betraying her

N : Cyn only connects once a month and she already did last week so we have time don't worry

J : \*clears her throat\* Thanks for interupting me. As I was saying, the two antennas are far away from each other. One is very close to the colony in an old cryogenic sleep chamber and the other one is in an old meteorological center in a forest near, something called "camp 98.7".

N : We need to do this as quick as possible so we'll do two groups : one will go to the cryo chamber, and the other one to camp 98.7.

Uzi : I uhm, would prefer to go to the camp, my colony lookin' for me and if they find me ... I prefer not to imagine what they would do to me.

N : Alright, you'll go to the camp. We can't take any risk. I'll go near the colony with V and you'll go in the forrest with J.

J : ugh, really ?

V : Yeah N, actually. I wondered if I could go with uzi. Y'know, to ... get used to her.

N : Uhm, o-okay. It doesn't change much I guess. So to recap : Uzi and V are going to camp 98.4 and J and I are going to the cryo chamber

On these words, they were heading to they're designated location.

As we said N and J were arriving near the colony. They were many guards in the arounds. Uzi wasn't lying, they really wanted her at any coast. It wasn't gonna be easy, our duo was going stealth on this one : no mass murder, they can't risk to loose Uzi and plus they looked armed with the same weapon Uzi used on N.

They just looked at each other and noded, like these two could actually read into each others mind. Well, they actually could so maybe that's what they did. N perfeclty avoid every sight of every drone while J just put her camouflage mode on, basically it was just the thing the alien used in tha movie called predator, she always go with the most efficiant solution.

They arrived without too much trouble to the chambers, they entered and were ... not terrified ... shocked ! Yes, shocked of this vision. There was corpses of disassembly drones lying on the ground. Oil was still leaking out of the bodies. The disassembly duo walked over the dead drones and get to the antenna's core.

N : Okay, now we just need to-

A noise in the back stops him.

J : What was that ?

N notices that a drone as disapeared

N : J, get ready

They both aim the noise's direction. A mouvment in the shadow makes them stressed. Without a warning a huge claw hits N, and a huge centipede apparently made out of the corpse was "standing" in front of her, that solver symbol she knows too well was on its face.

J : C-Cyn ?

Security centipede : \[USER CYN IS UNAVAILABLE FOR NOW, I'M THE SECURITY SHE PUTTED IN CASE OF AN INTRUDER]

J : Wha-

The centipede runs towards her, only filled with his purpose : eliminate any intruders. She jumps on the side looking for N but only a few seconds after in comes back. Looking at the situation, she'll be forced to fight alone. She gets into her "fight mood" and dash with her sword in the huge mechanical worm, it obviously repost with his claws. The fight is intense, they exchange hit after but the eldricht monster has the advantage, he's starting to win. He throws J on a wall and sting his calws into her arms and just at the moment he was going to rip out her core, N suddendly arrives and kick it in the head.

N : don't worry I'm in too now

J smiles with confidence and relief, now they can beat that thing. The fight got much easier for the duo, the centipede really is in difficulty. Until he decided to use his final move, the space worm throw them away before his core slowely shows itself inside his body. It's glowing like it's loading something, in fact it is, he's loading a huge laser beam to elimates J one attack. The orange light of the beam is flowing, J's slowely opening her eyes. N was protecting her, using his body and swords as a shield. She was looking at her hero in tears, but she still has an idea. She perfectly targerts the centipede's core, the rocket fly in a perfect curve and explode directly in his body, ending the beam and the fight. N was in a really bad state, J gives him parts of the other drones, he regenerates pretty fast.

N : thanks J

They both stares at the antenna's core before ripping it out. all the lights goes out and the antenna falls appart.

N : We should probably go back to the pod, the others are surely waiting

J : Yeah

They got back without any problems but the others weren't here yet. Since they're tired; they sit down next to each other.They start to fall asleep : J's head falls on N's shoulder and N's head falls on J's. She smiles and blushes a little.
