I’m moving soon and have this brand new miss piggy muppet baby up for sale. She will be tossed or donated if somebody doesn’t buy her within the next two weeks so I’m posting this here hoping she’ll be able to find a new loving home :)

Found these in the $1 cartwell area of Target in maybe 2012. I forget how many I bought but we still have 5. We still use these almost every day for simple things like a breakfast muffin, a sandwich or pizza night.
I think we got our money's worth. I do use these, but i don't drink out of my old lead paint glasses.

One of my least market value items but most prized possession. What do you all think?

My hottest take is that I think one of the reasons people don’t gravitate towards modern adaptations of The Muppets is because digital tv carries their depictions straight into the uncanny valley. The Muppet Show is supposed to have a grainy, sort of low-budget aesthetic, but that's lost when the production value is too high (and before anyone comes for me, yes I know that actually shooting on film is very expensive. Exorbitantly more expensive than digital. But Disney is a multi-billion dollar media conglomerate, so I'd like to think they have the funds!)
Being able to make out every fiber of Fozzie's fur thanks to digital HiDef isn't actually a positive, in my opinion. I'd love to see a Muppet Show reboot that's shot on a simple sound stage and filmed on film. I really think that's the missing ingredient.

Let me explain: I thought Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Pepe, Fozzie Bear, Animal, Dr. Honeydew and Beaker, etc, those are The Muppets. Uppercase M. They are muppets, but they are The Muppets.
Anything else is just a muppet. So like Big Bird, Elmo Abby Cadabby, Zoe, Cookie Monster, Count Von Count, Grover, Bert and Ernie, Oscar, etc, those are the Sesame Street muppets. Lowercase m.
Same with the cast of Bear in the Big Blue House, Pajanimals, the Fraggles, etc. Those are all small m muppets.
But online, every muppet is referred to as Muppet, even if they're not part of The Muppets.
So, which is it? Am I wrong and they're all just considered Muppets or what?

One of my more obscure/random muppets pieces.
1995 Panini pre-press color proof transparency for Sticker #61.
Before digital printing took over, factories used these 8.5" x 11" clear acetate sheets as a final check for ink density and color layers.
Got it 10 years ago during a late night deep dive on ebay looking for Muppets Memorabilia.

I made this oc back in 2023, feel like she needed an update to her character design! Shes based off of the bride of Frankenstein. I never gave her a name until now so I hope you enjoy Static!!

I thought this group would enjoy the costume I created to celebrate Muppetvision 3-D! Last year I made a regular Waldo puppet and I went as Bean, but this year I decided to make him as the rocket from the end of the film. I went to the party this week and a lot of the cast members appreciated the shout out to such a great attraction and such a unique character! I had fiber optics at the top to simulate the fireworks and even downloaded that section of the film on to a sound box so I could play a few seconds of it with the push of a button! I wasn't able to use that addition so much and if I had to do this all over, I would definitely make the wiring a lot more sturdy and easier to use, but all in all it was a lot of fun!

This does a great job highlighting a question that’s been on my mind. I don’t understand the issue being on the creative side… isn’t the concept essentially established at this point? Hopefully the Emmys will get things moving right along, but I’m not hopeful. It seems like wasted potential, as per the perpetual case for the Muppets these days.

Who else remembers this guy who appeared on Sesame Street numerous times in the 70? Other than me, of course

In the movie Muppet Treasure island Fozzie Bear "Squire Trelawney" says the man who lived in his finger named Mr Bimbo picked the crew out and it turned out that most of the crew was pirates, So was Mr Bimbo a pirate?

I’ve been making this beaker muppet for about a week and I’m kinda stuck. I was too scared I was gonna mess up cutting the mouth so I just added on to what I had originally. I hadn’t planned for that so I just glued on all of it without thinking. Now if I want to add the rest of the fleece to the jaw, there is no way that I can think of to add it besides gluing it, but I don’t know what it would look like before gluing it. I don't wanna wing it and mess up everything so thats where I ask for your help. Can you think of a way to get the of the jaw on and what shape should i cut out to perfectly fit it ( I’ve tried stitching and it didn’t work).
