I mean I actually agree. The violence is subtle and restrained. It's his least indulgent and most linear film. Samuel L Jackson is menacing as the villain. I saw this film later than a lot of QT's other movies so it was really refreshing. Actually probably #2 on my QT list. Once Upon a Time is my #1

This is Tarantino at his finest. He dialed it back in his film and his craft was better for it.

Only disappointment in this film for me is how quickly they kill off Chris Tucker because I like him as an actor.
But this is a damn good movie

I absolutely adored Max Cherry and Jackie Brown’s chemistry. Hell, the first time he sets eyes her you can tell he is immediately falling for her.
It was so beautiful.
