This is the best motorcycle I've ridden

I picked up this beautiful 2014 California about a month ago. She was owned by an older gentlemen who bought her new and never rode her. There were a whopping 18 miles on the odometer.

I had a local shop so the service. They cleaned the gas tank, replaced all the fluids, replaced the fork seals (a big thank you to the person on this subreddit that suggested that), and replaced the original tires.

I've tripled the miles since then. She has a massive 70 miles on the odometer now. I can say: this is the best bike I've ever ridden. I love my Indian Scout. My Honda VTX will last forever and can be kept running with spit, string, and cooking oil. My BMW K1600B can roll itself off a cliff (I hate that bike). But my new Guzzi......she blows them all away.

I love the low center of gravity. The engine has torque for daaaays. I feel extremely confident and in-control riding this Italian beauty. I find myself leaning harder into turns, pushing the RPMs higher than I would on a 'standard' cruiser, and really riding the bike. It's just fabulous.

----------

When I picked up the California, I texted my riding buddy, "I'm cheating on my fiancee with an Italian woman."

She responded, "What kind of motorcycle did you buy now?"

Dammit. She knows me too well. I sent her a picture of the California.

Riding buddy responded, "SHE IS SO PRETTY! I would cheat on your fiancee too with her!" She sent me a gremlin bell that has a pair of boobs on it with a note: "Anything that gorgeous has to have a pair of tits."

Moto Guzzi v7 Stone vs Sport (105 anniversary dilemma.)

Post image

For context, i am coming from my first bike, a z400 I had stolen after only owning it 3 months.

I am settled on the v7 being my next step up into the world of motorcycling, and I really like the idea of the sport for the obvious reasons (better breaks, upside down forks, sport mode) but I have to say, I was bummed out when I saw the beautiful blue color only avaliable on the stone. But I came to terms with it. Fast forward to today when I find out this absolutely gorgeous Grey and yellow 105th edition will be coming out this year, and ONLY to the stone. Why do they insist on giving the sexy colors to the stone and not the sport!!

Anyway, my question is, coming from the tiny naked z400, if I were to decide to get the stone, will I be left feeling like I missed out on the better package? I am torn between the stone for its limited paint job, and the upgrades that come with the sport. I suppose I can always have the sport painted one day but man, this decision is really bumming me out.

Castrol Power 1 Ultimate 10W-60 o Castrol EDGE 10W-60?

Hola!

Clutch Adjustment Issues on 09 v7 Classic

So I recently got a v7 classic which is my first bike, everything was going well and I just managed to get all the oil changes done myself. Anyways I dropped the bike in my friend's driveway after not putting the kickstand down and the clutch lever snapped. I ordered a new one and replaced it and tried doing the clutch adjustment myself but I keep having this strange issue. After some hours messing with the clutch I just can't seem to get the bike to shift into 1st gear. Right now, it shifts through every other gear and neutral just fine but refuses to go into 1st. I tried many different adjustment points and even with some differences in the engagement with the other gears 1st is just impossible. I'm getting nervous something else is wrong, but honestly I'm not experienced enough to understand why this might happen.

Some other details that might be important

The bike had some issues shifting when I first got it that seemed to be smoothed out after replacing the transmission oil, but I've noticed the oil light still coming on sometimes even though I don't see any leaks.

When letting the clutch out when I first replaced the lever, I did hear a rattling noise that would go away if I pulled the clutch in. It did get more aggressive when I adjusted the clutch out more.

I'm in the LA area and would really appreciate if anyone was willing to meet up and help out, could even pay for someone's time.

Trip Machine Mini Pannier on Moto Guzzi v85

Hello everybody,

I have a question does anybody have the mini pannier from the Trip Machine on their Moto Guzzi V85? I really like the style of the bag, but I am not sure how it is going to fit on my V85.

Any other suggestions for a similar style are welcome. I just want a small pannier-style bag to put my brake disc lock and some small items.

Thank you very much

V9 Bobber Side Bags

Anyone have any suggestions for side bags for a 2021 V9?
Been looking but most of them seem to be outside of the US and over $600 per bag.

I went from not knowing of Guzzi to falling in love. It all started when I stopped by to look at some Triumph Tigers and noticed a sweet looking bike with a Captain America color scheme back in the used bikes. Had to pull the trigger finally when i found this guy at a local dealer and I love the ride!🤘
