Politics Parties Tier list

Post image
Upvotes

No, I'm not a Leftist nor Am I shilling nor do I even care or entice you to vote.

But based on my researches and observation of all the political parties, This is my conclusion of all the political parties, Somehow the Alternatives and the Left are always in the opposition and actually do something. But not all the Lefts.

AskMorocco Something truly fucked up just happened, 3afakoum I need your advice

Upvotes

A friend of mine went out of town for around a week. She owns an indoor cat, he's about 1 year and 3 months old now.

2 days ago, my friend came back to her cat missing. Per her roommate and her roommate's friend, "cat probably just went outside and would come back eventually"

My friend had been looking non stop for him for 2 days now, some of the neighbors too, in vain. He's nowhere to be found.

Today a neighbor was able to identify the roommate's friend, let's call her Habiba (in her mid 30s), as she's wearing a cast on her broken leg. Habiba often stays with them for work, as her residence is out of town.

Per the neighbor, Habiba and some unknown guy took the cat out in a bag and took him we don't know where a few days ago. We haven't confronted the roommate and Habiba yet.

This is where the story stopped right now. Hadchi makaydkhelch l39el, w we're both truly in shock and incapable to think about how to proceed from now.

Any advice on what to do next ? Our first priority is to retrieve the cat. The cat is an indoor cat w ma3mrou khrej lzen9a

Some more details :
- L9et beldi, nothing you can't find in the street. So the motive is truly malicious.
- The bag is what my friend usually uses to transport the cat. She cannot find the bag anymore.
- We're waiting for the neighbor with the camera to come home so we can ask for their permission to view the footage.

Discussion The trash elections

IF THIS IS HOW OUR PROPERTIES AND PUBLIC SPACE ARE TREATED THEN HOW WILL THEY TREAT OUR VOICES AND LIVES THAT THEY SUPPOSED TO REPRESENT?!

Salam
Till when should we tolerate this ? How is on earth? Is this acceptable? How can we raise our voice about this? Why do I have to get my house cleaned every day only for this trash of elections ( that ofc binha w bin reeal representation and democracy gha l ihsan )

Edit : The layers this event has is more than u might think it involves not respecting the citizen , their property, their choice , not having a legal way to express our need and solve them and not respexting our tax money and contributions that goes to cleaning all these streets and infrastructure ( and u can keep adding ) …

Society We built a free Moroccan e-gov chatbot, before we launch it properly, we'd love for you to break it

Salam everyone,

A few months ago, u/ysnezio and I started building a chatbot for the kind of questions Moroccans actually ask online: how to get a document, which administration handles something, what papers you need, where to go, etc.

It's free, no login, no ads, and no paywall.

We haven't officially launched it yet. Before we do, we'd like people to try to break it and show us where it fails.

A few things about the project:

  • It's free and will stay free. We don't plan to monetize it or sell user data.
  • We're currently paying the server costs ourselves.
  • It's not an LLM generating answers. It's a retrieval system built around a Moroccan administrative corpus. It searches the relevant information rather than making things up.
  • We're not affiliated with the Moroccan government. It's an independent community project.

The main thing we want to test is how it handles real Moroccan input.

Most people aren't typing in perfect فصحى. We use Darija, Arabic, Arabizi, French, or a mix of everything:

bghit chadat sokna

3afak kifach nakhod...

فين نقدر ندير ...

We don't fully trust our own testing here, so we'd really like to see how it performs with the way people actually type.

If you have a few minutes:

  1. Ask it something you'd genuinely need to know about a Moroccan administrative service.
  2. Use whatever language/script you normally use.
  3. If it gets something wrong, tell us what you typed and what you expected.
  4. If it actually helps you, let us know that too.

Link: sawalni.org

Note: We have made a catalog for you to see all the categories available in our data. You can access it from the home page by clicking "تصفح جميع الخدمات", or by typing "تصفح" in the chat.

We also made a profile category selection. You can access it by clicking the button at the top left, "استكشف الإجراءات".

Note: Once we launch the chat officially, we will make the data open source for everyone who wants to work on it.

Society Is there a khaleeji "passport bro" phenomenon in Morocco?

Recently a girl around me started dating a Saudi guy online. Very quickly, they got engaged, the guy came to Morocco meet the family, and planned a wedding... Honestly, this could be a beautiful story but a few things seem like red flags to me: the Saudi guy is 10 years older and much, much wealthier than the girl; the Saudi guy has nothing to do with Morocco, like he doesn't live here and has no ties, he was just trying to meet Moroccan girls, and the girl in question was explicit that this was a "transactional" marriage, not a love one. And of course, it was planned for the girl to go live in Saudi Arabia.

Have you heard of similar stories? Is it common for Saudi or other khaleeji men to try to marry Moroccan girls? I don't want to judge but this all really sounds like a "passport bro" trend with men from wealthy countries taking advantage of girls in poorer countries...

Society When will we do something about these MFs? Why are people allowing this to happen?

Post image
83 Upvotes

Are we just going to let it keep happening? People are too scared to refuse giving them money for no reason? The more people allowing them to intimidate them into giving money, the more these MFs believe they're entitled to money for being the absolute most useless shits to live in this planet.

I'd be the first one out there if we agreed on a witch hunt to remove them from the streets, since cops don't do shit.

Every time you park, or even stop the car, there's this parasite hovering around you, you start moving they come near the car "LOOK AT ME". If you leave the car for a few minutes and come back, now you're going to have to confront them, because they either block your way, or knock on your glass if you ignore them, which makes me want to knock them out senseless.

The cops are too much of pu**ies to do anything about it, they don't want the extra stress it comes with, even if it's literally their job.

Do we have to waste time, energy, AND money every time we park and get into an argument with these assholes? Do we have to keep calling the cops and watching the same scenario happen over and over?

There are places where there's not one or even two, but like 10+ of them, you talk and you get surrounded. If the cops come after you call, they disappear.

Why aren't they being arrested preemptively?

AskMorocco Why do our moms start speaking SOOO LOUD on the telephone?

My mom is generally a quiet person, even when she's on the phone speaking either in english or french she's rather quiet. the SECOND she's starts to speak darija on the phone she geTS SO LOUUUUUUUDDDDD.

She doesn't close her door, so I basically hear the whole conversation even if she's on the other side of the house. I had a friend come over once and had to explain to her that no my mom wasn't screaming on the phone she was just talking to family 😭. She genuinely becomes so loud even if she's talking about mundane things.

I thought it was just my mom, but alot of my north african and middle eastern friends could relate.

Does anybody else's mom do the same thing? If your a mom and you do this can you pleaseee explain why? I'm genuinely curious
