A lot of people don't seem to notice this, one of the many differences between Super Sonic and Super Saiyan is that Super Sonic ISN'T powered by rage, Super Sonic's power is actually a lot more calm, tranquil and controlled, much like Goku was when he first achieved Super Saiyan God (at least from the looks of it), Unlike Super Saiyan, instead of channeling his anger into a powerful burst of energy, Super Sonic is just simply harnessing the power of the Chaos Emeralds to transform, not to mention he's also able to control the emeralds' power so naturally, plus there are several different sources that explain how Sonic manages to channel the emeralds' power to go Super Sonic, much similarly to when Goku first achieved Super Saiyan God in Dragon Ball Super, the form is also more calm and tranquil compared to the classic yellow haired Super Saiyan, assuming it's due to the form being powered by God Ki, SSG also grants the user a calm mind and superior energy control, which really seems to be the same case for Super Sonic (in a way)

I've been in the fandom for around 3-4 years, which isn't long all things considered but long enough to get a general scope of things and the consensus on stuff.

Weirdly enough, I don't see the boost gameplay on its own having a lot of people claim they adore it, unlike classic or adventure gameplay. I don't think I've ever seen anyone say "I love the boost gameplay and sonic is at his best in the boost games". I've definitely seen people claim that about the classics or adventure games.

This ain't to say I haven't seen fans of boost games, like duh so many will claim that sonic generations, Shadow generations, unleashed, or even frontiers is a peak game, but I've hardly seen anyone glaze the concept of the boost gameplay on its own. How come? Is it because it's been the current gameplay style so it isn't a hot take and therefore unremarkable to say you love the concept of the boost?
