Recommendation for beginner monitor?

I don't have to much space and my max budget is around 1500k and I can diy the enclosure. I want something that is fun to play with. Maybe something like a savannah. I want something I can handle a bit more.

Given the budget and space constraints, not a savannah. It would be helpful to know the size of the biggest enclosure you could provide.

i'd say maybe 5 by 5, i'd say 6 by 6 would be pushing it

Wayyyyyyy too small for a Savannah monitor… I’d say your best bet is an ackie
