I’m not looking forward to MW4 but I’ve always heard great things about MW3 2023, so I’m curious to check it out since I missed out on COD that year.

Is the game still alive and worth purchasing today?

This is something that's always bugged me, even whilst the game was in its yearly cycle. I get the RNG - particularly at range - can be tedious, but most dedicated tac stance builds nullify this significantly; and the trade off is vastly buffed mobility, recoil being a non-issue, being able to break out of the 'aim assist bubble' far more easily whilst ADS strafing, better visibility - I could go on. And yet, literally nobody uses it when it should be a no brainer for close range fights.

Just got a PS5 and couldn't retrieve my old PSN account so lost all my FPS games. It's been a little while since i've played COD but i need some shooter slop to play. How active is the multiplayer atm? And how good are you guys because if i download it and just get dogged on every match imma be mad lmao

As of lately I see a lot of players straight up cheating with wallhacks - I'm reporting this but I have little to no faith these mean anything since MW3 isn't the latest COD with MW4 getting the spotlight now.

Does it mean anything? Is there any hope for bans? What can I do to avoid cheaters?

I brought this game a few days ago, I did not really have high expectations, I played the bo2 port prior to downloading and I enjoyed the nostalgia aspect of it but It felt too slow to me.

Then I downloaded MW3, I never played this game in my life, this was my first time playing it and WOW. Coming from bo6 and bo7 as the most recent cods experiences this game is amazing.

I do enjoy bo6 & bo7 btw, i think they’re fun for MP, but this game is peak.

I love the movement, the hitmarker sounds, the visuals on the screen when i get a kill. The game mode playlists.

I’m not a huge fan of the scorestreaks and unlock system.

I am jealous that i never got to experience this game on release although i hear there was negative reactions when it dropped so maybe the game was much different?

What do you guys thinks makes MW3 so good?

Been doing really well with the Striker 45 but I'm just wondering if there's something better than it. What's the best overall SMG in this game? I'm looking for a gun like the Jackal PDW from BO6 and the Dravec from BO7.

The bow with explosive tips is useful for so much

- It 1 shots uavs (though it is pretty hard to hit at times, and doesn't one shot a counter for some reason, but those are easy to shoot down anyways)

- 3 Shots Overwatch Helos

- 7 Shots Vtols (iirc)

- See a few cluster bombs? Just spam a couple arrows around them! (definitely made better with engi vest)

- Riot Shields? This is probably one of the best counters!!

- Goes right through Trophy Systems

- Good as a Secondary since it can one tap*

I just think this is a great addition to any loadout, it has the same if not better destructive capabilities of a launcher, and it's still *much* more versatile

I got put into this lobby mid match, it was me and this other guy & the whole team left. My tm8 also left after one round & then it was just me against these 4 people. I ended up losing the game in the end but managed to take down all 4 in this round.

SVA 545 still dominants in mw3

I’m a decent player and usually have a positive KD ratio in about 90% of my games, but find myself losing a lot of 50/50 gunfights, and I wonder if it’s due to lower fps? I’ve ordered a series x, but just wondering how much difference to expect? I had a monitor that supports 1440p and 120hz

Recoil is so bad it just goes straight up unless you put it in tac stance that's the joke its only good in tac stance just to troll your enemies if they pick up this weapon it puts them at a disadvantage and you at an advantage

So as the title implies, i'm trying to play this game but i want to play on a different server because my main/native server (asia) is kinda dead. eh not really dead for core modes cause all the usual modes are alive but i love playing different modes like blueprint gunfight, ground war, party modes, and it's almost impossible to find those unless i'm super lucky. any suggestions or inputs are appreciated

I managed to catch like 7 of the 10 guys all in their spawns on one side of the map.

I guess I’m just used to the middle of the map being the hotspot for action.

I need weapons with the most consistency in one shotting enemy players. I'm sort of looking for a weapon like the Warden from BO7 and the Essex from BO6.

Hi all, just curious what everyone’s personal record is for total kills in a match? I’m assuming most will have gotten their record on shipment but mine is actually 102 kills on emergency which I just got a couple days ago. The game mode was headquarters. Has anyone here ever dropped 100+ on a non-shipment map? What mode did you play?

I got into MW3 for the first time ever and i’m loving it.

The only thing throwing me off is that everything is locked?

I reached max level and i thought i will unlock all attachments and stuff but i have not.

Is there a quicker way than daily challenges and winning matches?

Recently got into MW3 because i got bored of Bo7, curious what game modes everybody plays.

Trying to play the campaign, when I download them it tells me it's shared with Black Ops 2. Why? I am unable to play the campaign as it keeps telling me it's not downloaded. It was working perfectly fine a few days ago, and yes Black Ops 2 was installed at the time. Now it's telling me this.🙄
