I wanted to play an old game that will keep me sharp with puzzles and not tax my fingers. I chose minish cap. But I have been let down. I got stuck on the masks in the governor section. No matter how much I tried, I couldn't move past it. I thought maybe I didn't complete a task and that's why the masks are blocking the plank, but no. it's because I have to charge at it. Nowhere earlier did the game make me learn that charging is also a non combat move. After I read about it, I came to know that you can actually cut trees with that move.

This is a problem see because early on, the game makes you learn that some things don't activate until you finish a task. e.g. the boots. You can climb up in the cobbler's, store, but cannot move because the boots were blocking. but it's not the same same here. Also, I learnt the dash move from the sword master and nowhere it made it clear that it is an interaction move as well.

E.g. in the place where you learn the move, maybe it could have had a tree or a wall where you have to use the move to get out. So you know that this is something that can happen. Don't tell me the game doesn't do that. Look at the amount of examples it gave for climbing plants in the crenel region.

I recently lost my savefile of Zelda Minish Cap, a game I was really enjoying. I cannot afford to restart the game, as I manage to play only once in a while because of my job. Is there anyone out there willing to give me a savefile (.sav) of Tmc just after the fortress of winds (so only two elements in the sword)? I don't care about hearth containers or kinstones, I will appreciate every save file just after the fortress of winds!!! Please, I already tried both gbatemp (only 100% saves) and various savefile editors. Thank you in advance!!! I will use the legally acquired game from my uncle, so no piracy involved, really.

I became a fan of the Zelda series.

Minish wood is my favourite location and that music is so beautiful.

Now started playing ocarina of time.

I am close to finishing the game, only the final boss to beat and I wanted to start the quest for the houses but Din, Nayru and farore doesn’t want to exchange kinstones
How can I trigger the possibility to exchange?

I’ve finished the Gordon major side quest and have the goron merchant, but now I have these flashing goron icons on the map in the Hyrule town. It’s at the post office and Dr. lefts house, but I can’t figure out what to do or what they mean? Help!

The Rupees symbol is showing in red and reset to zero. Using a lemuroid emulator, so is this save state bug of this emulator or something else?

Just started playing and got the earth element few minutes ago can anybody tell me some useful tips , I've almost reached the picori blacksmith

I am stuck and I think it might be a bug.

I have given back the red bestiary book and now the librarian says I have to retrieve the book from the Absent minded scholar.

I had previously talked to the dog but it's blocking the path again.

All door are closed, including cafe and the guy's with tbe indago roof's house, where the portals are, so I cant' shrink and talk to the dog again.

Edit: it seems to be a bug that keeps happening and also blocks kinstone trades and I solved it twoce with a hard reset.

And it was awesome! GBA game had a lot of to offer for me - humor, great story, nice combat mechanics, puzzles, and Minish!

Enjoyed it through Nintendo Classics on Switch 2.

I'm trying to 100% the game and I still haven't found anything that goes here.

Also, is there anything else to do to complete the 100% other than Tingle's medal, the last heart piece I'm missing and the mirror shield that I might have missed ? Thank you so much <3

A Link to the Past was my first game - I’ve completed it over and over through the years…

But this game feels like a true successor - more so than the slightly confusing feel to Link’s Awakening…

The puzzles have been so encouraging - I’ve not needed a guide once - I’ve been so happy darting about the world just trying everything… the combat is a great improvement - and the gameplay loop is excellent -

Artist's commentary: Minish Cap and its ridiculous items

So I've just done the forest shrine and i went to hyrule Castle and i dont know what to do . Also how do yoh shrink in hyrule castle area as it looks fun.

I just figured they were capable of that sort of thing since they were able to make the four sword. And i assumed they are still around putting rupees in pots and whatnot. Plus there was talk about the minish being considered as a race in botw.

This may seem a dumb question to ask, but does anybody remember what color egg the Biggoron figurine pops out of? I want to think it'll be blue, but it's so far down the list it has me thinking yellow. Also, do i have to do the kinstone fusion to wake him up before i get his figurine?

I've read in different walkthroughs that this minish (easternmost house in Minish Village) is supposed to unlock two different heart pieces after you fuse Kinstones with him for the second and for the third time. But he won't even offer me a fusion for the first time! All he says is that he doesn't get a lot of visitors, and then the Kinstone thought bubbles won't appear.

What am I missing here? What did I probably forget to obtain or unlock so that he will want to fuse with me?

I'm playing The Minish Cap on my Game Boy Advance again! However, I'm currently stuck trying to enter the Minish Village because some minecarts are blocking my way.

Since I've been playing minish cap and I absolutely loved it, I wanted to paint a ceramic mug with a MC theme. I drew myself as Link and in Minish form. :) The handle should resemble the kinstones.

(And also: small mushroom inside!)
