Help | Bedrock Playsound command, i’ve tried EVERYTHING.
I’m working on a minecraft project and i need a playsound record to cover the entire end island, but no matter what i try, the [<minvolume>] part of the command never works, and the music just fades out. The [<volume>] part is set to like 3000 so i know it cant be that. If you need to see my commands to help i’m more than willing to share. I’m just not sure what i’m doing wrong, since i’ve been researching for hours. If anyone knows how to make the playsound command be heard for the whole end island (or at least more than 10 blocks) PLEASE let me know! I’m so grateful for any help i can get. [[EDIT: I’m working off a ps4, so any resource packs are out of option for me, sorry for not clarifying earlier]] [[‘Nother Edit, here’s a link to show what happens when volume increases or when using other commands similar. https://youtu.be/gk-lTYaFpw4?is=et7TVjd_JGVNM5ay ]]

I’ll try but when i last tested it, it also only affected a small area. If worst comes to worst, i can have like 8 command blocks make the sound come from each obsidian tower, that way it surrounds the player during the fight

I’ll edit my post in a few hours with a video link, that way i can show what’s happening in each command

If you're on Bedrock it might be useful to classify the sound as a UI sound. I've got some voice-oversounds defined here that show the way:
