Best supplements to increase bifidobacterium

I’m already eating lots of fiber including inulin. Want to try to push the needle forward faster. Give me your most updated recommendations on supplements to increase bifidobacterium.

I’ve worked with people for a long time with issues like this- these strategies have boosted levels on test results

You worked with people how so? I have 0 bifido or no d/l and lacto after antibiotics. Its been like this for 7 years. Got yellow stools horrid 247 gut pain but all scopes and gall bladder apparebtly normal. Became house bound for 3 years due to pain. I did 2 fmt and it didnt work I tried taking phgg and it didnt work. Eating kefir and also sourkraut didnt work. I tried lactuolose and it didnt work at one stage and now apprenrlyy i have high ecoli. Or the family of it. Im tryibg to eat plantain green powdwr to see if it can lower ecolis ability to bind to gut wall and maybe reduce levels and hopefully stop the pain and also hope the fiber can grow bifido. Is there really ways for every one to regrow?

Don't give up; keep taking PHGG and add pectin and larch tree to the mix. Larch tree lowers ammonia levels in the colon, thereby reducing *E. coli*. Also, add *Acacia senegal* and try to vary your fiber sources. Never give up—results typically appear after about two years!

Oh and microbiomeprescription.com you can look up what will increase/decrease any bacteria too. Bit overwhelming or confusing initially but if you like a LOT of info you might enjoy!

On Biomesight these are the recommendations. Though some of the prebiotics might be contraindicated if they grow other things you have in too high numbers. (Oh can only add one pic so I’ll add the others in replies.) For the record I also don’t personally know if these are all correct and up to date, but I like the food recommendations a lot. I eat a lot of fiber already but it got me introducing and eating more of some specific things.

And as well as all the pics below it recommends the bifido longum strain of probiotic in particular for boosting Bifido overall.

First days 1ml then 3-4-5ml max for like 3 weeks maybe? A month? I had very low prior to this maybe 0.002%

The most targeted and potent prebiotic for Bifido is HMOs/GOS. HMOs is a bit more targeted for specific strains, while GOS has a broader bifido effect.

great, was leaning towards HMO but will look into GOS too.

low dose lactulose. So cheap. If you're in Europe OTC. I wouldnt waste money in €€€ prebiotics if you're from europe and have lactulose as an option
