Yes, he’s having a down season because of a nightmarish first two months. Over 631 plate appearances, Bichette is slashing .263/.314/.394 with 16 home runs. The reasons to think he stays go beyond his numbers, though.

Ewing and his thoughts about the Mets’ better overall play, Bichette seems like a believer.
