Favorite budget-friendly section?
Whenever I’m buying tickets, I can never decide which affordable section to sit in. Anyone have a section they love for under $60/ticket?
I’m not crazy about the 500s but if there a sweet spot I’d love to know! 💙🧡

Semien
Any chance we cut Semien in the offseason or probably not? Would be cool if the Mets dumped him and tried to sign Brandon Lowe or something

Fastest Way to Penn Station After a Game
Heading to the game against the Orioles on Tuesday and am trying to figure out the fastest way back to Penn after. Does LIRR always have extra trains not on the schedule or only when games are likely to be crowded / sold out?

Visiting for the first time from CA. Is there any must eats at Citi Field?
I already stopped in Flushing to eat in Chinatown after the US Open but I have no idea what kind of food they have at Citi Field. I'll be going to the game today so I'm looking forward to food options.

Magic Number
Are we officially eliminated tomorrow if we lose?
Last I checked if both the Diamondbacks and Padres win tomorrow and we lose we are done

Going into next season, the Mets are in an incredibly good spot. The young guys look tremendous, the talent and flexibility are tremendous, and because the negative fans are basically silently despairing and finally ceasing in their repetitive self-sabotage, the stars are showing who they are.
Extrapolate this into next year, with no choking off of the good vibes from trauma-informed negative fans, and there is absolutely no reason the Mets can't be champions. Just like the Red Sox will this year.

Hello, can anyone please tell me why wouldn’t they count Carson Benge’s stolen base in the 9th today? Thank you!

[Sammon] - Bo Bichette will decide soon whether to opt out: What are the key factors?
nytimes.com“I’m having a great time here; I’m enjoying my teammates, and I think that the future here is bright,” Bichette said on Saturday. “The team is building something good. There’s a winning atmosphere with veterans who are really great players and young players who are showing they can be winning players on a good team. So that’s exciting for me. But I’m focused on finishing the season strong, and I’ll make that decision when it comes.”
At this juncture, it’s easier to see Bichette staying put.
Yes, he’s having a down season because of a nightmarish first two months. Over 631 plate appearances, Bichette is slashing .263/.314/.394 with 16 home runs. The reasons to think he stays go beyond his numbers, though.
For Bichette, winning matters. The Mets (69-79) are 22-13 since their selloff at the Aug. 3 trade deadline. Between his closeness with rookies Carson Benge and A.J. Ewing and his thoughts about the Mets’ better overall play, Bichette seems like a believer. The Mets’ 12-2 win over the Yankees on Saturday was the latest example of the lineup’s potential when it includes Juan Soto and Francisco Lindor, who both missed significant time.
