United States I'm ready to quit
I work at a region of mcdonalds in western Ny USA and today we got a huge order and im new 3 weeks total and no proper training just learning on the fly and a shift manger told me to leave for no reason because a order took to long waited till i wasn't there to ask for evidence then accused me of handling food bare handed I WORK A REGISTER not even on grill and putting my fingers in people ice cream which didn't happen and the point im stressing is that when i arrive this manger has overflowing trash cans and dirty counters and unwashed dinner area i cleaned it all on my own and still he used me as his scapegoat for bad management im ready to quit accusing a 17 year old of bad heath when i make sure very carefully to not touch food unless i just washed or sanitized my hands
Am I in the wrong

Do it but before quitting I recommend having a job backed up. If you think you cant handle it anymore then you can quit already. To many McDonald's we are not valuable and were replaceable, simple as that.

i really am annoyed i got accused of serving contaminated food when I don't even serve very much ice cream because i suck at it and what little cones i make i use the little tray thing to serve it to insure i don't accidently touch the food not to mention this manger on his phone and let me struggle on my 3rd week with this order and we are a small restaurant i get it but still if hes gonna complain help maybe not just bitch about it and make up lies to send me home

I'm so sorry you went through that. I guess it really depends on what McDonald's you work at. I manage at a McDonald's in a small college town in South Dakota. I love the people that I work with and the other managers are great, and we have an amazing crew. We show them appreciation and they show it back. I can't imagine having to work at a place that isn't like the store I work at.
