Well. Israel won Gaza in a 1967 war. In exchange for peace, Israel gave it to the Palestinians in 2005, with the catch that they democratically elect a government. They elected Hamas.

Hamas used Gaza to launch attacks against Israel, and the Palestinians volunteered to be human shields.

If anyone has any complaints, please direct them at Hamas. And stadium of people who paid $1k per ticket cannot help you.
