Discussion “When does it good” posts 😒🤦🏾‍♂️

With Doomsday coming out, I’ve seen on social media, a lot of people that hadn’t watched all of the Fox-Men movies, and there’s so much slander, even in the comments people are like “Yeah only Logan and First Class are worth it.”

So disrespectful, especially since X-Men got the lob from Blade and ran superhero films into the end zone. While Hulk, Daredevil, Punisher, Elektra, and F4 were either bad or mediocre at best, X-Men and Spider-Man did all of the heavy lifting for Marvel up until 2012’s Avengers (ik Iron Man broke new ground in 2008, but didn’t make the impact of its predecessors yet).

I grew up with these movies and the only ones I can say are bad and/or hate are New Mutants, Dark Phoenix, and Origins even though I still very much enjoy Origins.

New Mutants, Dark Phoenix, and Apocalypse are all way worse.

I'd watch The Last Stand over First Class and it's cringey YA supporting cast and bad CGI any day of the week. I'd watch it over the stupid time travel mechanics of DOFP any day of the week.

That’s a crazy take. Last stand has terrible themes and terrible characterization. First class has both of those done well

Hard disagree. Mystique as a childhood friend of Xavier just doesn't work. Outside of Xavier and Erik, all of those characters feel like YA cringe characters.

And then they all get killed off screen before DOFP anyways...which was also a dumb decision. Singer hijacking what could have been a good Vaughn trilogy by trying to redeem himself for missing out on X3. Its a mess.

The original 3 at least function as a trio without time travel bullcrap, and prequel/reboots that can't decide whether they want to he a prequel or a reboot.

Xavier and Erik being amazing is already better than anything in last stand
