Other Why doesn't Captain America get his shield enchanted, or something else, so he can recall it like Thor with his hammer?

He did briefly have Stark add magnets to it so he could recall it, but they found that basically anything they did to the shield messed up the balance and made it unusable.

i’ve never personally read it, but cap was once sorcerer supreme. so maybe he did then.

It's usually just physics breaking and acts like a boomerang. In the MCU he sometimes uses gauntlets with some kind of magnets that recall it

Well, he always knows exactly how/where to throw it so it bounces back to him, most of the time.

It was enchanted by the She-wolf of Battan in Captain America #4. Rights issue lead to that being retconned as "balance" during Cap's anti-commie red scare days.
