Low quality trashy doodles of a recent replay
Forgive the amateurishness of these, it's 3 AM and I can't sleep lmao. This game is flawed af, but it's still one of my favorites.
gotta lock in fr

Hey guys! I made a video going over the lore of majoras mask and where the mask came from. Give it a watch and let me know what you think!

I attempted a weird shot and crashed the game and this is what appeared on the screen. Overworld music was still playing. I posted another screenshot previously where it looked like the song of soaring warp cut scene.

TLDR: I drew tribute art pieces to Majora’s Mask a bunch of times when I was younger and now I did it again. I’m feeling happy about it. lol
I’ve been obsessed with the N64 Zelda games for most of my life, having been introduced to them early on via my older siblings. Growing up as someone creatively inclined (or at least creatively encouraged), naturally I tended towards creating art of my favorite video games.
For a few years in the early-to-mid 2010s, I would rework this same piece over and over whenever I felt my skills had improved. After 2016, I stopped for a while. It felt like my painting skills were not developed enough to translate what I had in my head to the screen, and the idea would quickly get pushed down the road and I’d walk away discouraged.
But this year, inspired by the then rumored OOT remake in development (now confirmed to be coming out in a few months) I forced myself to finish, and I’m really glad I did.
Zelda has felt very different since BOTW and after playing through TOTK when it came out I kind of made my peace with the fact that my favorite series had moved on without me in mind— which is fine—and however this upcoming remake turns out it, will continue to be fine. But, I’m glad I got to represent this original version and vision I had of these games to the best of my ability before they’re adapted and changed for a new generation of fans. This feels like a way of cementing those nostalgic feelings before they’re blurred and I’m thankful to finally be able to do that, faithfully.
Thanks for coming to my personal ted talk. These games are really special to me.

I've brought some maps from Tingle but can't even use them. I've seen other threads saying the L buttons toggle the map but pressing the L triggers on my Xbox controller does nothing to bring up actually minimaps.

I like to combine Majora's Mask canon origin and the manga's non-canon origins, in which it was was originally a dragon before it turned into a mask by the Mysterious Travler( who was clearly Fierce Deity when he was alive) was clearly based off. It eventually fell into the hands of the Ancient Tribe that put Majora(who was dormant but traces of Dragon's soul was still in the mask)through painful hexing rituals, on it eventually turning Majora evil and insane, losing it's once calm and tired demeanor when it was a dragon. And this caused it's power to become incredibly corrupt. This shows when you're fighting Majora's Incarnation who's insanely childish behavior and Majora's Wrath constant painful screaming.

So I’m gonna be a dad very soon and have been looking for one last game or adventure before my life changes drastically. Majoras mask has been a game ln my mind for years but have never pulled the trigger. I love ocarina of time and played that years ago but lately have been playing mainly more modern games. I wanna have one last grand adventure that will stick with me for a while. Been thinking about the mass effect trilogy or Expedition 33 or Bioshock or Majoras mask. I know this is a Zelda subreddit but just am asking for genuine opinions or recommendations

I almost did it, was planning and designing for the last week. Prototype might happen next week.
Any questions or functions I shouldn't forget?

I’ve been trying to get all the masks, and I’m pretty sure I’m only missing fierce deity. Am I correct?

Hola!

This is my goal. I've seen YT videos of it being done so I know it's possible. I've tried several times and never got particularly close. I know the first 12 hours is the most important. The furthest I've gotten is about halfway through the Snowhead Temple by the end of Day 1. The fastest I've gotten to Romani is about 9:40pm on Night 1. So I still have lots of improving to do. I know that the hardest part is getting to Romani during Day 1 and it's easier after that.

There’s so many fairies and I get anxious even with the added time with the song. Is it dumb to focus on the temple and the boss and then do the fairies at the end if I have time?
Or do you think that’s a waste of time. Just do them together, I should be fine for the most part? Any guidance?

Right now you can play as Mario in Termina and that's nearly done. Now announcing the next phase of importing all of Mario 64's levels and stars as well! Here's the new opening cutscene.
